This question is adressing successful clans with an way above average ranking.
Besides of socializing, platooning, solid hangar, etc., what about the 'hard facts' - how many medals a week should one steadily contribute to the clan to be a worthy member of the clan?

For Wik2, very minimal, only 150 trophies, which is like nothing if you can slot in 2-3 games a day.
Some clans are 500 trophies.

Just take the clan rating and divide by the number of members  of course, thanks. so for the maths, i picked a top-10-clan with an average of about 45700 medals during the 10 days earned by 39 members. Thats quite an active group then, considering that each of them does around 120 medals a day. if you'd score 4 medals per match, your daily task would be to fight around 30 matches. |

Most of the top 10 clans are either sealclubbers or maxed out players, so they get more like 8-10 cups in a decent-length match. Not to brag, but several people in my clan (myself included) have even had an average damage upwards of 1 million at points, so the medals really do scale well with skill and upgrades. Don't let the numbers discourage you ? |

At least 3 of the top 5 want at least 1200 medals. It really depends on what the clan is looking for. Some are trophy hunters just looking for pure numbers. Others want to be the best and aren't concerned with numbers as much as skill and team work. My clan is in the top 10 and has people with less than 300 medals. Real life happens, people get busy, and decisions need to be made. Kicking a good pilot because something came up or they went on vacation is a good way to lose skilled players.
An above average pilot in silver can put up 40 trophies an hour pretty consistently.
Something to think about is, when you are running with the top clans, everyone is going to be above average players and you'll find yourself competing with your squad for medals. My average solo is somewhere in the 500k+ and 5 kills range. With a squad of 3 or 4 it is closer to 350kish and 3 kills.

I'm in a top clan on IOS, and the only thing I would add is that games tend to be considerably shorter when I squad with my clan mates vs running solo....some squad matches are over in 90 seconds to 3 minutes when MM sets us up with randoms that have maybe moved their bots up too far or if fewer players are on (we run silver line ups) - same players you would run into while solo but your team is not composed of them. So while I get less damage/silver/fewer trophies per match, we tend to have many more matches per hour to make it seem like it is roughly equivalent at worst. Plus the socializing makes the time fly. Its what I hate about clans, all those good players stealing my damage and kills! At least with crap randoms you have to do all the work. Seriously why do I bother with my clan mates?

Its what I hate about clans, all those good players stealing my damage and kills! At least with crap randoms you have to do all the work. Seriously why do I bother with my clan mates? LOL, when I solo I am SOOOO tempted to change my name to "get beacons idiot". |

Then we take over bwhahahahahahaha wb when the second iOS clan gets full? That was the case almost 2 months ago. The Wiki had members in the low 20's and struggling with recruitment. Meanwhile 2wik was almost filled to the brim, forcing the officers to limit further additions to the clan to requests made via the forums. 2wik was also, around this time, ranked higher than Wiki. So, I thought of doing the Christmas challenge to encourage 2wik members to transfer to Wiki (also because at the time, many of us seemed content to stay in silver tier). |
