Huh. Doesn't seem that long nor a grind to me. It seems like I just blinked, and then I was halfway to that 5th slot. Kinda like how I blinked, and the little baby had become a 5-year-old running linear regressions and building Portal 2 levels.
Also, Griffins are fun even when you forget they aren't Cossacks and accidentally fly into a building or in the middle of of 3 reds with Thunders. Hahaha! Do they have a "Learner's Permit" paint job? I might shell out a little gold for that.

That is why sometimes its better to play your best hangar, squad with friends, clanmates (you can't monitor your funds in squads), and play the game for fun, while gathering the gold/silver you need, and enjoying the game for what it truly is.

What's an interesting "farming" strategy is to go Schtuzes with Thunders, don't upgrade anything because at base you have enough speed to both cap and do major damage to newbies. Not entirely sure it works anymore due to current Match Making though.

I'd recommend three 4/6 thunder schutzes and a 4/6 taran Cossack. 4/6 is the limit for low bronze bots. It will take a little bit of getting used to to use this setup, but once you get the hang of it it will be more efficient than farming with punisher Cossacks. |

I dont consider it that bad. I earned almost 4.5k gold last month. Mind you I did play a lot more during the Halloween event week.

I know it's hard with the animation, but I think the trick is like with retirement savings or waiting for a pot to boil. Don't check it all the time, just once in a while. Focus on enjoying the games and improving your skills. You do that, and the gold will come.

I feel so tempted now to buy the Gold from the shop. Currently standing at 3.2k gold... its taking forever... lol The only reason I am doing good with this is because I am still upgrading a lot of my bots to 4/6 |

You can squad with randoms, although the response rate will be lower (and it'll take a bit longer to find folks that won't skew the MM against you). You can also find a clan here, among other places. |

Yep been looking for a clan so that I can play in a squad. Although I do think it is faster to earn Au playing solo as you can get the beacons and damage at the same time lol. Below is a reason why I am getting tired of farming Au, as I have to do everything most of the time with my 4 lvl2 cossack and lvl 3/4 punishers.  |

Yes, I use strategy except I go with 4 Level 1 Schutzes w/ Lvl 5 Thunders and 1 Level 1 Cossack with either a sheild, guns or a Taran. I get 10 gold at least 8 out of 10 times. (unless I run against a Mag Gep, then I don't get much). Not sure how long it will last with new MM on the horizon. |
