I won an orkan during the holloween event but I also dont want to leave it on the dust so should I by a fujin and put triple orks or be annoying with a hydra/spiral griff(I miss using spirals)also as a counter for the growing aphid community.Or should I buy a stalker and slap in dual aphids.
Thanks for the reply

Congrats on that win! In what tier do you aim to play?

Try a Thunder-Orkan Boa. I have two in my hangar. I come out top damage even over most maggeps and even snag most beacons a good percentage of the time.

How many Orkans do you have already? Try to get 4x minimum. Use it on Rhino, Griffs, Lancelot, Galahad etc.

Two orkans and two pinatas on either a Griffin or a Rhino is a very strong setup, and really lives up to the DB name, and Griffin is the DB platform that I prefer because of its jump ability, which allows you to dodge enemy rocket attacks, get out of danger quickly, and close in to finish off damaged bots (not recommended though), while the Rhino eats up rockets but is faster and more resistant to plasma. Both of those options require another orkan, so if you are poor and can't afford anything else you can mount the Orkan on a Boa or Golem and still have an effective bot, and the Boa is usually the better choice at mid silver and above. Mixing Orkans with other medium weapons dilutes your firepower and is generally not recommended.

Another vote for Thunder/Orkan Boa.

Aphid/Orkan griff is the new 「dookie」! Ever since aphids got buffed everyone's been replacing all their pinatas with them.

Aphid/Orkan griff is the new ?poo-poo?! Ever since aphids got buffed everyone's been replacing all their pinatas with them. On course to get my first Aphid, and might try the Aphid/Orkan Griff setup too. Post more videos of it bro!

Aphid orkan griff is pretty good, you can engage on your own pace and soften the opponent up enough so you can it in one full blast. Less risk of losing too much health when engaging.

BTW:I like the DPS for the golem DB when playing low/mid silver My experience with both the suggested fujin and griffen set up were negative. Hydra fujin was not bad if you allready have the hydras. Stalker aphid seems under powered and risky, but I habe never run it.

Personally, I have a soft spot for Rogatkas with Orkans on them. Its an exceptional setup against heavy/shielded bots on small maps. a 4/9 Ork Rog setup is great for silver tier if you get a chance to try it out..
