For new players who may not know.
When firing at a Carnage or Fujin, don't fire all your non-plasma weapons at one time as the regeneration rate of the ancile shields (esp the fujin) is pretty good.
If you're in a quad pinata Patton for example, fire one rocket first, and while the shield's down, immediately fire the rest. Otherwise, you'll inflict little damage.
And when you're going against another Carnage thunder--it's best to do alternating fire: one thunder depletes the shield while the other -- firing half a sec later -- causes damage to the bot.
Hope this helps.

Carnage using a DB load out: tap the red button, don't hold it down and it will deplete the carnages shield, then fire off orkans.
When you have a thunder: fire at ancile bots from max range (500m) to deplete for your teammates to more easily kill it.
Against a fujin: fire off Missile weapons individually, but when the shield is down do not wait too long, as the fujin shield regenerates quickly.

Or, just use energy weapons. Pew pew.

Nothing better than cornering a thunder carnage at 300+m with plasma weapons, the only mistake I have ever made with shield bots is jumping at taran spider with my plasma griffin, at least it was a short lived mistake. But these are great tips, I learned from experience to fire off one missile to deplete shields before going in with the rest.

I usually enjoy blasting off Carnage's shield from <500m away with Thunder...must be really frustrating for him.

I don't find carnages much of a threat in any of my bots unless taken by surprise, they have to be pretty ballsy to take on a plasma Galahad or a DB Griffin

One thing I have noticed with shields is that there is a noticeable period of lag between when the shield health is brought down to zero and when the shield is actually deactivated, hence why non plasma weapons have to be stagger fired to damage the hull energy shield users. Simultaneously firing off all of your rockets would do a lot less damage than it should to the hull, but this works in your favor if you are using energy shields- you can tank more damage than your shield health suggets from short cycle weapons like Pinatas and Tulumbases when the rockets are hitting in the period between when your shield health is depleted and when it actually shuts down.

I wouldn't mind if the energy shields were much more resilient to bullets/missiles and just have a longer time to activate either, at least it would be less annoying.
