I though about putting this in the rant section, but I think everyone has experienced this problem and I think the more people that talk about it, the better.
Several times I have been trying to corner shoot, or shoot then duck for cover, but then along comes one of my own team mates who pushes me into the open giving me a lovely dose of enemy fire. Now I'm not talking about how clunky some of these bots can be or the awkwardness of the movement of the bots, and I know there are some out there that are just so keyed up about shooting someone that they don't even think about what they're actually doing. But I have several times been in a tug-of-war with my team mate, literally moving back and forth the whole time I'm taking damage.
If you have experienced this, let me know and aside from telling us here, tell your clan about it so we can spread awareness and I'll do the same. Between you and me, the last time it happened to me and it brought me down to my last 1k of health, I tried to push the other guy into fire, but ultimately gave up and quit the game.
Am I just being petty, or does pushing bug you too?

Sometimes, yup. You dont get your shot, or sometimes you get killed. Then there's get out of the way, pay attention, go faster. Some players have no clue. Don't care or both. BTW, if you are THE "Gungirl", remember this? Attachment Deleted

Yeah it's annoying how some people have two left feet. No coordination whatsoever. What I do is push back by pressing towards their direction. This keeps you in the same spot, but you will lose your aim from the scuffle.

I was pushed out in front of a RDB Griffin once when I was in my Galahad on DC. When I respawned I saw the guy who pushed me was alone facing three red so I went the other way.

Yes I have been pushed too, and taken damage because of it. It happens like getting youyr feet stuck in a pothole for no obvious reasdon somewhere on the map. Or a teammate stepping in front of you when you jusdt unleash a deadly volley blocking all your missiles etc etc etc In case of being pushed at the corner, I step back and use the blatant teammate as cover. Adapt improvise and overcome ! And yes this post should be in the rant section

On Yamantau I have carried a teammate Leo (against his will) all the way from center ramp back up to the spawn platform with my Gareth. Suck on that DirtyLikaRat®

Not in general, just some oblivious piloting. Yep! I push my teammates when I have tunnel vision. I see that red arrow and red box and don't care if a teammate is in front of me... I'm going to keep marching forward, not walk around you. Sometimes I fly over teammates if I'm in my Griffin.

I have a better idea, GTFO my way!
I am sick and damned tired of people thinking they are the only ones that know how to or are allowed to corner shoot from a particular location.
GET A CLUE!
Move up to the corner. Move out from around corner and THEN IMMEDIATELY START TO BACK PEDAL! Move back behind corner, now further back. This allows the next person/bot to slot in behind you and do the exact same thing creating a rotating ring of fire.
Screw you and your selfish 'ME ME MY, ME ME MY MY ME ME MY!' special snowflake spot.

You really think, your childish insults are getting someone to do, what you want? Well, I don't think so. They just give away your character...

I don't think OP was/is talking about corner shooting. I call it using me as a meat shield. Had a griff tum/pin do it to me while he reloaded. It's done in a lot of shooter games-really irritating.

You really think, your childish insults are getting someone to do, what you want? Well, I don't think so. They just give away your character... Meh, honestly it was meant more as a tongue in cheek counterpoint as I don't truly care if someone wants to post up on a corner and make it their Alamo. I just find it amusing when they do and wonder why they get no support from people like me or used as a meat shield by others. As this game lacks comms, this forum is about the only way to convey anything and I thought the sentiment was worth sharing, regardless of the manner in which it was presented. It's not some War Robots specific phenomenon as noted by others. I'm past trying to 'share' cover like a corner and will simply utilize a different plan of action personally. Have your Alamo, but don't complain when you find yourself overrun and dead, alone at it. If this post was not specifically directed at me, then I apologize for my ego making me think it was.

Actually, I think, you got a point worth mentioning. I just didn't like the way you did mention it.
So, no, nothing personal.

I've decided that no matter what you say I will like it since you are obviously a respecter of good blades and blade makers. Just sayin. Wear them well and keep 'em honed

As far as pushing is concerned... I agree... it shows a complete lack of awareness, respect, and an obliviousness to team play that should be shunned in any way. When it happens to me, I ignore that person for the rest of the match and refuse them aid unless it is a game winning/losing situation. If it is, I will wait to assist till the pusher is dead or sure to be, before engaging whatever may be shooting at him, if at all possible. But, I refuse to push back, as I have learned that to meet immaturity with like, is sure to cause more problems of some form or another for the rest of the match. They are as bad, or worse, than the little punks that follow fellow blue peeps around, shooting them non-stop.

I'll gladly push a blue into the open, especially if they are doing no good. If it's a light bot, shooting around a corner with just one magnum, or one weapon, you betcher 「bum-bum」 I'm pushing you out into the open. You are doing NO GOOD to the team. You are not capping, you are not doing any real damage, and you sure as 「dookie」 ain't helping out the team in any way. Or if you are in a bot that is so damaged that you only have one weapon left, and you are still trying to corner shoot and stay alive, I'm pushing your 「bum-bum」 out into the open. Either 「dookie」 or get off the pot. I'm tired of losing matches and standing because other pilots don't know what they are doing.

I'll gladly push a blue into the open, especially if they are doing no good. If it's a light bot, shooting around a corner with just one magnum, or one weapon, you betcher ?bum-bum? I'm pushing you out into the open. You are doing NO GOOD to the team. You are not capping, you are not doing any real damage, and you sure as ?poo-poo? ain't helping out the team in any way. Or if you are in a bot that is so damaged that you only have one weapon left, and you are still trying to corner shoot and stay alive, I'm pushing your ?bum-bum? out into the open. Either ?poo-poo? or get off the pot. I'm tired of losing matches and standing because other pilots don't know what they are doing. This made me log in again to reply... There are several situations where I can see, even a light, damaged bot, hanging around cover and corner shooting being a boon. Just a couple off the top of my head: 1.) if it is their last bot and they want to get as much distraction, mileage out of it as possible before they are meched completely. 2.) they have a specific set of conditions that they are waiting on to make their move. If the beacon they want is currently guarded, then they can only bide their time as most lights have to pick and choose their battles/moves very carefully or it is just as wasted as you assume their waiting is. If I had the time I would list more... but I must bail. I have to completely disagree with your reasoning and your behavior in this regard. FWIW. P.S. and I will completely tune you out if you try and tell me that "no one should run light bots" because this is a game that many peeps play and neither you nor I can tell anyone how to play it. Nor should we. If lights are the bane to your existence then get a squad together that agrees to not run any. But causing your teammates to die bc you don't like them is less than optimal. But, I can't tell you not to... I confess. So, I guess you do you and I'll continue to run lights when I want to. Meh. IMO, YMMV

I get in people's way accidentally all the time. These things happen. Also, when i am looking left and trying my best to kill the red and avoid fire, and if you are looking right and doing your thing, then it is not unlikely that we will accidentally collide, or each go for the same cover. It happens.
Focusing on what other pilots do wrong or right is a headache. Just drive your 5 as best as you can is my motto.
