I'm not sure the Springfieldmap is balanced for capping beacons.
Taking into account the Domination meter is always ticking - the team that can capture the earliest beacons hold an advantage. They build up a lead on the opposing team. It doesn't guarantee a win, but the advantage helps. It's not really how many beacons you capture but how long you hold on to them for that counts.
if you start with your back to the dam facing the farm to the far left. You have 3 caps- behind left (dam hydro station) forward left (small town) and 1 right on the higher level (Crates.)
Reds have a very close beacon first (city), 1 in the farm AND also have a direct assault on the the Crates beacon.
Taking into account cossacks seem rarer at gold/diamon3 level and griffins are slow the red team seem to have a much higher opportunity for early beacon capture. City -Crates - Farm.
Meanwhile the Dam team (!) tend to go for the two left beacons and neglect the ramp to the Crates. The ramp is very slow and exposed despite the cover from metal-fuel-store-things. Even if you do make the ramp your exit is in open ground. You tend to turn into a lonely pile of scrap. The reds can also fire across the riverbed into the forward left beacon.
i have played both ends and to me it does seem like a tough battle to get a win at the Dam end - by the time any capturing has been done by the blues the reds have used their geographical advantage to secure the two early beacons and then 3 (farm) by the time blue have got just two - usually with 4 or 5 bots crowding into the small town beacon.
Maybe be it's just bad team work or I have some bias or it's just a hunch: but just putting it out there as it bugs me.
