Hi everyone, I wanted to ask advice on what to max next. After grinding for more than one year. I'm doing the last few upgrades. I've enough silver to do one more. What next Galahad? or Ancile? my gut says Galahad but wanted to check with others first. Then any suggestions for the order for upgrades after that? Thanks for any input and advice.  |

Looks like typical top tier. Way better than mine. I would go with another ancile for the Torkelot. Than just get another Lance later on.

I personally would go with the Taran and/or Thunder. The upgrade in bot health from 11 to 12 (6%) on the Galahad isn't extreme (same with the Ancile). The damage increase from the thunder/taran (10%) seems more useful.

The Gal is the best bang for the buck to L12 between the Taran, Thunder, and Ancil.
L11 to L12 gets the Gal 7K more body HP and 11K Shield HP ---- that's 18K HP bump if you are against a Plasma/Bullet wielding opponent. I'm sure you've been killed by PDDs, Taran Ancilots, or Thunder Carnages in your Plasmahad when just 3-4 more seconds of your weapons fire would have killed that red bot. Well, that's what upgrading the Gal to 12 gets you ---- those extra seconds of return fire or seconds before a leg breaking (or weapon blowoff).
An L12 Taran won't benefit the Gal as much as taking the body to 12, but the Taran would be the next L12 upgrade after that. The Thunder would be next and the Ancil last.
I do have 1 caveat in everything I've just said. The new bots are coming soon and they use only medium weapons. If you have already decided that one of these bots are for you, then I'd prioritize the Taran first and then additional medium weapons ---- and then do the Galahad after the mediums.

I would max the Galahad and that level 11 Taran. Afterwords, I'd level up the fun stuff.

Sorry Fubar, I didn't read your post very well.
On the Galahad the next Level will increase more your shield health that bot health. Against splash the additional 10% is miniscule. You will last a bit longer against plasma
On The torkelot thunder most Lance pilots use the Torkelot as a specific Ancilot counter to take the ancile down and suppress it not so much for damage.
The Taran will increase roughly 3% firepower on your PDB griffin. But the PDB usually doesn't last very long under fire
In any case that is a ton of silver for very little return.

I didn't even know that the increase steps for tarans and thunders were 10% versus 6% health for galahad and ancile. I think you are right, upgrading weapons are more value add "fo shore!" thank you |

Here's the Math
Lv 11 -12 Galahad = 7000 hp + 11000 shield hp
Against a DB lv 12 = 0.125 seconds extra life
No benefit against a TT Fury = 16 salvoes vs 18
Shield will last 0.5 seconds longer against a PDB.
Thunder Lv 12 will take down Lv 12 ancile in 6 shots vs 7 shots for Lv 11
Likewise a Lv 8 ancile will go down in 5 shots vs Lv 12 thunder as opposed to 6
Taran on PDB = additional 3.3% total firepower roughly |
