Bots & Weapons at 10 - Asking those of you in Diamond III & above who are between 10/10 and 12/12. Based on your experience, with the way things are now would you suggest bots or weapons to L12 first? Or is it now better to level a couple of "Ringers" then bring up the rest afterward? I have done plenty of "theory crafting" & am looking for advice from players past this point - cheers *Edit forgot to mention I play on Android

i came to this point last year and it was easy getting everything to level 11 first. I recommend getting the stuff to 11 in this order:
1) Tarans 2) Orkans 3) Thunders 4) Zeus 5) Galahad 6) Lancelot 7) Ancil 8) Griffin 9) Carnages 10) All light weapons as you see fit.
Once you are at all 11s, it doesn't really matter too much what you take to 12 first (just don't make the choice the light weapons first), but I'd go for the physical shield bots first, as they get a double upgrade if the bot HP and its shield HP. I'd probably leave the Carnages at L11 - as the small 7K HP bump to L12 is not that attractive considering the Ag cost. After that, I'd get the Tarans, Orkans, Thunders, Zeus, and Ancil to L12.
After that, you can pretty much sit back and examine what's really worth pushing to L12. Id probably leave the Griffin at L11 too, as this bot may get to be too squishy after the Dash bots get here and toy may not have it in your hangar. As for the light weapons --- IMO those can be left at L11 as the firepower bump isn't worth the silver costs. Additionally, the buffed Rog and all Dash bots will require mire medium weapons, so lights are not what I'd concentrate on at this point.

Threshold for 10/10 above starts from D3 in Android?? 10/10 would be E+ in iOS side unless intentionally suppressing Legendary Pilot.

I somehow got to Diamond II with a very similar 9/9 hangar and it was a painful experience. (since dropped like a stone back to gold 1 - not tanking). I have a plasma garath instead of the thunder carnage. I got there on a purely beacon strategy and had a severe lack of stopping power. Given the bots you have - they can all move quick, hide and bring force where necessary I would suggest weapons. Exception possibly for lancelot.

As mentioned above i got there with 9/9 (and into diamond II) but it was not a fun experience. E.g. over 60 games in a row without getting top 3 damage twice in a row. Gold 1 at 9/9 seems about right.

(never gotten quite up to 400k). I am not in the same league. I wish stats showed beacons. That's where I shine.

I'm averaging around 500k in damage - see my hanger shot below. For my leveling strategy, I first pushed my Gal up to lvl 12 when I got all my bots to 9/10 (my light weps are at lvl 12) to get the hit and shield point benefit. Then I'm leaving the rest of my bot levels where they are at 9 and moving weps up to Lvl 11 and then lvl 12. For which order, I started with my lead off bot which tends to be my TT Fury. Then followed by my DB Griffin as I need the extra punch against Ancelots. I went ahead and moved my Tarzan on my Gal to lvl 12 - in current upgrade - just so I will have 1 maxed system. after this, I'm somewhat indifferent on what to push up next. The Leo is not going up any further - I will replace it with a Thunder Orkan Lancelot that I will upgrade in the background after getting all the weps to 12 and then move the aphids over to the DB Griffin to turn it into a Stuka. im finding I just upgrade starting with which bots I tend to enjoy playing the most which are primarily my TT Fury and RDB Griffin. While mid-rangers, I drive them aggressively and typically do well in racking up damage and capping some beacons. good luck on the Android front.

I started with an Orkan for now that will buy me 2 days and a bit lol. Kinda depends on when they drop the Rog buff. I have a level 10 one that I love & if it's viable he might make it into the rotation.

Medium weapons are usable by so many bots that they are not wasted. I have 6 level 9 mags. The most I use ever is 5, usually only 3. - Waste.

I think the common theme here is that the best defense is a good offense! I have about 8 bots on rotation so I will upgrade the common weapons first. YAY! That's Orks, Tarans & Thunders! Thanks everyone, now a looong wait for a level 11 Ork, good thing too I'm broke! At this point I might actually buy silver with my Gold rewards, anyone end up doing that near the final levels? I don't need to buy anything else Gold wise for quite a while. Not worried about buying a Dash as I have the Rog anyway

I've managed to get to Diamond II with a 9/10 hangar, and I'm the lowest level hangar I've seen here. Even the Diamond III guys seem to average slightly higher. I've been holding my own so far (haven't been here long so we'll see) generally placing middle of the pack in damage, near the top in beacons. But it keeps you on your toes.

I am 9/7 in android d3 and its a tough place to be. I see the logic of weapons, followed by shield bots, followed by the rest.

Everything including AG drops. Cant bring myself to tank but its not a satisfying place to be. I rather miss being more competitive. Still unresolved, spinning my wheels and letting upgrades happen.

Today I am gong to try: I have not tried the Aphid Griffin with Tarans much & really love it with Aphid/Orks but I saw ShutUpAndSmokeMyWeed run orkan Ancilot in a video & I gotta say I'm liking it. I normally like Tarans On my Rog I find it hard to "superfly" flank shield bots unless I'm in a squad with good players that I know are managing the other Reds. I feel like this is a bit shy on firepower but higher on mobility. Has anyone used a Tarran/Aphid Galahad & how would you rate it?

When I do I run all 4 brit bots (the other three plasma) and a DB griffin.

Still unresolved, spinning my wheels and letting upgrades happen. Switch 2 bots to light, fast beacon cappers (Stalker, Gareth, Cossack, Gepard, Rogatka), and go for the beacons. First right at the start and then 2nd capper at suitable time during the battle. This is not tanking, there is no obligation to never change your hangar for a lighter one, and there's no reason to keep banging your head against a wall here. Quite the contrary, you're supposed to use the tactics and bots which give you tje best rewards and are the most fun (excluding those tactics which ruin the game for others, such as not playing to win).
