Recently I upgraded all my bots(2 griffin,1 stalker 1 gepard and 1 leo) to lvl 7 and weapons(magnums,tarans,pinatas,s tulumbas and crv pins) to lvl 9.Is there any further upgrades I could do to my weapons so that I would stay in low gold tier without bumping into high gold tiers(max lvl bots and weapons)?

You're already going to face the occasional maxed hangar with that setup. Best you can do is grin, bear it, and learn to kick butt against much stronger enemies. I'm running L7/8 bots with L-9 weapons, including Gareth, Galahad, Rhino, and Carnage. I routinely face enemies with hangars considerably stronger than my own - it's possible to beat them. Avoid enemies you know you can't beat and ambush the ones you can.
And make use of your team. Even if you're not squadding, you can operate in tandem with other blues to take down far stronger reds.

He's right. There's really not much you can do other than keep grinding to the top, and at this point you can and will face top tier hangars, and count yourself lucky if you don't already face them regularly. In reality, tier boundries really do not exist beyond low silver and they can be liberally mixed with each other, meaning that 6/6 can face 12/12 (This does happen, and I've been in one of those matches personally).
If you're looking for some good long term investments, Orkan is definitely a great buy assuming you don't already have one since so many bots up top have physical shields, and its utility will increase as you level your hangar further. The most you can do is to get used to facing tougher hangars, because you're only going to see more of them as you go up.

7/10 is safe for you. im running 7/11 now and it is still OK.
thou sometimes you may face lvl 9 bots but not much of an issue.
the problem is not the enemy, the problem is what kind of team MM will give you.

I am running 7/10 too. I seldom face max hangars, so I would safely say its fine upgrading weapons to lvl10.

How high can mediums go and still be in low gold? I'm specifically referring to Galahad and carnage.

i have 1 galahad @ lvl 8 and using lvl 11 weaps so far i dont feel any effect on MM.

How long ago was this? I've only been playing low gold for about a month and haven't seen anything beyond an 8/9 and even that was with a >40% win rate. I might've gotten lucky, it might be rare, or they might have subtly changed mm. I'd like to be able to understand it further. |

I run a 7/9 hangar and I definitely see a bit of variety. I see everything from 6/8 to 12/12, though the latter is not as common. Once in a great while I get matched up against a team that is mostly 12/12 and have some high level players with me. I figure there are fewer top tier players on at any given time and MM has to pick a few of us in low gold to make up a team (or be sacrificed) once in a while. It's a learning experience even though it can be frustrating at times.

So probably no harm in leveling him to 8/9 then. i have same problem, i dunno how to build up my galahad... seems he bumps me up everytime.... i'm thinking about buy another carnage, Set him on lv1 weaponing him 8/8 maybe... could it bump me up? |

Study the Matchmaking article on the Wiki... Medium bots can be leveled up much higher than heavy bots, as in how they are rated for your hanger score.
My personal example is my top hanger, with 3 heavies at 6/8, which should land me in high silver/low gold tiers. I can upgrade my 2 medium bots to 9/10 and they still won't increase my hanger score, but at 10/10 they would be slightly higher. A light bot with an equal hanger score would have to be maxed at 12/12.
