I've seen 2 different behavious with ads on myi iPad :
1. Play the ad, at the end go to close, and the app goes into forever spinning hexagon. 2. Play the ad, close it at the end, and nothing happens. 3. Play the ad, close it at the end, and it complains about no video to play.
Maybe this is Pixonic's new plan: cause frustration with ads to force me to pay to play.

You’ve surpassed the ad counter, but the in-game indicators have not reset… appears available, ad plays, zero reward. It’s a known (to PIXO) ad revenue scam.

This happens a lot for me. And the reason is their advertisers have a budget likely. And it’s region dependent and they are probably ripping their advertisers off as much as the players
