So, looks like Chimera is available in as an Event Crate. Basically, if you buy him for A-coins, it's like 3850 A-coins. But, if you do the Event Crates it'll be 3700 A-coins plus you get all the other resources too. I think this was how I got my last couple of legendary pilots. If you're working towards a Heavy build, then this is a good deal. I was saving my A-coins for MG12, but now that I've depleted my store, I'll have to wait to build up again or pick up the MG12 when it goes on "sale". Usually, when offered on "sale", it's at R4 whereas if you buy stock for A-coins, it'll be R5. So, it all evens out in the end.

I'm low on acoins as I just bought Diesel for 3840. I had been saving for him. I needed another missile pilot.

I got a lotof implant parts from the Diesel event though. (shrug) I did acquire a purple heavy pilot recently. Though I need practice with the heavy weapons.

I already got him when he went in the store for A-Coins a while back. It'll be good to remember that they do this type of event afterwards though for later pilot releases. The new pilot system has tamped down on the urgency of getting extra gold pilots, but there are a couple I was looking to get eventually when they became available in-game. Now I'll just hold off until this type of event happens.
