And that is really slowing the activity that I see on the titan leadership board.

Whether it is because the thorium prize is just generally viewed as a "who cares" or the level for reward is too high, not sure.

Normally I spend saved up platinum during these leadership events, but for thorium as a prize? And at 10,000 "points"? No thanks.

Fair point. however, imo, the biggest contributor to how high the spend goes in a leaderboard is dependent on your activity on a number of previous leaderboards. If you have gone high previously, you will be matched with people achieving similar results. Most of the time I try to do as poorly as possible on leaderboard by doing the exact opposite (if possible) to what is required. When an appealing LB comes up than I go for it.

Just another mechanism Pix uses to maximise spending.
