Iâve noticed a sharper than usual drop off over the cliff in both these boards and the libtard 「dookie」 hole Reddit.
Obviously many content creators have mostly thrown the towel in too, and barely make new content.
None of this is really surprising given the dumpster fire that pixonic created.
So if itâs the end, to all the survivors who still lurk here, great to know ya!

I still check in every day but don`t find much to talk about about the game nowadays - not anything which isn`t always completely negative anyways.
And I don`t watch the YTers much anymore either. I used to find them interesting and informative - now I think they`re all just advertising for Pixonic for all the latest most ridiculously OP stuff that they keep on introducing.

Still here. But quiet. I play a couple of games a day since getting back from my holiday I'm just not that drawn to play.
There used to be fun things within the game. It's feeling stale.

I’ve been here a few years (under various user names) and yes, the game smells rotten now. Ironically the last few months of stability (ie no massive nerfs) have been some of the best in years as it has allowed me to build and run a near-meta hanger and hit Legend League without having to spend mega bucks, but with all the nerfs coming that’s about to end and with it my enthusiasm. I doubt I’ll miss this game much. I already miss some of the banter that went on here, but that got stamped out by now inactive admins / moderators a while back for reasons that had nothing to do with the game. Oh well, never mind. Last one out, turn off the lights.

Yeah, the slide has been a loooong ride down indeed. I can still play my Rogs and Striders at the cusp of masters/chump league and go for the thrills of old, but with the new dorkfist of death titan and the ever increasing screechy stompers my time is def winding down.
I always wondered if I would make it to 60K wins before I was forced out of the game, the coming big nerfs to the older weapons will make it a tight race for me to get there. I still play the game, just not as much.

When they're getting "benefits" from Pironix, then they're always just advertising for Pixonic and were never really anything else. Congratulations to waking up.

I’ve been here a few years (under various user names) and yes, the game smells rotten now. It has been for several years now. I'd go back to the introduction of Seraph and the very obvious bugs with it shooting through walls and unannounced can shoot stealth mode stuff. Why do you play War Robots? To hit LL? To have fun playing the game? |

I can still find fun in the game and still play several games every day. It infuriates me no end, when whales with their all meta hangars wipe out all my bots in minutes but I can still enjoy it when the MM makes me the stronger player and I get loads and loads of kills with just Scorpion and/or Shenlou. That`s the game nowadays, no skill or tactics, it`s purely just down to who you get matched up with and against.

Unfortunately, I'm getting steadily pushed up through the leagues to the point where I'm running into Champ players with meta hangars on a fairly regular basis now, which is hurting the fun factor.
I may need to start deliberately dropping back to Master III/Expert I, but then I'd probably be the seal-clubber doing 4-6 million damage with double-digit kills. Seems there's not much of a middle ground.

I havent really played in quite a long time now. When I gave my Son my account/hangar, he played more for a little while, but that didnt last. As Pigsonic increased the amount of constant BS, my Son (and all of his friends), lost interest more rapidly. These days, none of them actually login, and spend most of their gaming time on Fortnite or Roblox. I'm sure I had some role in that, as during a few of the Parents Association nights at my Sons school, there were several conversations about War Robots grifting. Once educated, purchases got cut-off.
I still like coming here though, good folks, good banter.

I still play fairly regularly but my spending is waaaaaaaay down. I haven’t spent a dime on Titan-related stuff in, I dunno, three months? Acid Mauler is just the latest unNerfed Titan. Condor is likely the latest redonkabot, I may get one but not tomorrow…

Just read the new mod rebalance/shafting/robbery/bs, and I’m thinking after the end of the yr gonna take an extended break. They really sped up the downward spiral timeline with nonsense |

I think this game is rapidly toasting. They can’t even implement their own nerf cycle because the game is too much of a disaster.
I can’t even understand their parade of stupidity any longer. Every single step is dumber than the next, and the stupidity is such that it defies understanding.
Along the lines of “if you drink hemlock you will die”, so they drink hemlock naturally and wonder why they are dying

Maximize short-term income, when that drops off, the game gets sold to another company. Rinse and Repeat. It's not about game design anymore. I think it just reflects the social / business ineptness of the people making these decisions. Data driven, sure, but measuring the wrong KPIs. The game could be a whole lot better, more popular, and make more money if they actually gave the market what they want / like, but that would require a change in understanding that’s clearly beyond them. I haven’t spent in a long while, and won’t spend again. The fact I’m still in Legend League with a hanger full of old bots tells me a lot of people have quit already, and once it stops being fun, I’m out for good too.

Pigsonic doesnt care about the game-play or the players, its simply a monetization platform configured for maximum exploitation. Its the reason everything in game is such a mess, and the physics/function model is a nightmare.
Their primary targets are people who dont know any better and get sucked in, and those who will pay anything to be 'winners'. Sadly, the latter just ends up with a lighter wallet and is still the same loser that started out, except with a participation trophy now... Pigsonic understands those types very, very well.
