Seems like if you don’t have an item you can’t study it. Did I get this wrong?
and it seems like the ultimates are being nerfed too. Wow! If so I wont be getting any more of those.

Seems that way. All stuff I don't have are shaded out and sone stuff I do have already has some Intel gathered.
Is it actually live though? Nothing seems to be happening with Intel gathering.
It's a sly way to silently nerf the UE stuff.

It's a sly way to silently nerf the UE stuff. F2P could be screwed. Meta gear won’t be nerfed against those who do t have ‘em. This seems too over the top to be the case. And seems like it doesn’t work the way it was advertised. Seems live as I have percentages against some items. UE stuff is too expensive to nerf into the ground. |

I'm confused...so if onlt T4 gear gets nerfed by Intel, does that mean T3 gear will ultimately be stronger? Or did all T4 stuff get a pre-emptive buff so that full Intel levels will drop it back to where it was before I tel was introduced?

Exactly… think “trickle-down economics” and the “broken window fallacy“ as the nerf the game from the top tier downwards. Only the newly released meta gear will be full-effective, and for only a shortened period of time. Lather, rinse and reuse = more money for Pixonic. |

I have a feeling this is going to be a major problem for the devs. I spoke to a buddy of mine that works in the gaming industry and they told me this code will make more problems than it will doing what it's supposed to. And yes, it is a sly way to nerf a lot of stuff.

Seems like if you don’t have an item you can’t study it. Did I get this wrong? Ay, there's the rub. It was pretty clear Pixonic will not just start nerfing their best selling items. So this will effectively increase the gap between meta and other players because chances are meta players already have the gear that you use. And if they don't have it then most likely it was never that good so they won't care if it's further nerfed now. |

They probably haven't done all the coding yet for all tiers but I'd assume they wouldn't have them there if they weren't planning on including them. Blame the confusing english language but the word "affects" rather than "effects" fits better here? Definitely looks like it could be a huge hit to F2P. Players will probably just destroy bots before whales get the chance to kill it off and/or leave matches. Hopefully it leads to whales fighting each other more often to gather Intel early but I doubt it. They will come after non meta to get them out the way. |

A "Covert Ops" for the Starbase, that increases rate at which Clan members earn Intel...or allows sharing of Intel among members. |

you could easily script one on ones to max out intel ....scripts are doing everything else nowdays (hurricanes anyone!)

So has anyone figured out this dumpster fire yet?
Seems you have to play possibly hundreds of games just to unlock all the bots/weapons/titans etc before you can actually learn any sort of trickle Intel on them.
