One of this week's even tasks is.. "Achieve 2 kills in the first 45 seconds of two battles."
I took two approaches to this: 1) If I don't have 2 kills in 45 seconds, quit the game and try again. 2) Avoid being killed in the first 45 seconds.
I had to drop down 2 leagues (from master to diamond) before I could pull off (1).

I think I completed one of those a few weeks back… it totally surprised me. But now, honestly, I just “power-ad” through those types of “tasks” as I don’t want them clogging the pipes for my daily bump 'n grind. ;-)

Completely out of my reach, I guess I won't be completing those. Any kind of "league standing management" or dropping out of the matches is out of the question for me.
It took me a week or two to complete a task that required two enemies killed in 45 seconds in two matches. Now I see clan task to accomplish the same in four games. I guess if you have maxed out full clan squad then it's not an issue when you are stamping randoms in their spawn point. Once again, I'd like to thank Pixonic for promoting behavior that will ruin the game for many players.

Pretty much this exactly. It is a task that can only realisticly be completed by completing a massive amount of tanking first.

I have managed 1 so far but can't even work out how that happened.
Most my games feature immortal curies and self healing raptors as first drops which makes this task super hard.

Agreed, it's been particularly tough this go-round. I've managed it before, but it takes the Reds being pretty suicidal now.

Well I didn’t even try to do it, but after 1 day was mysteriously credited with half the task, then the other half after 2 days. I’m pretty sure 2 kills in 45 seconds becomes two kills in 60 seconds if you don’t get near it for a day or two. In any event the prizes were crap and went straight in the bin anyway, so you’re not missing much.

You've just got to tank hard enough to get down to league levels where they aren't present.

What in the 「fluffernutter」?!?
Time is limited.
If every game took 10 minutes then in 1 hour, I have 6 chances to get 2 kills in the first 45 seconds.
If each game lasts less than a minute, then in 1 hour there's probably 20-30 chances to get 2 kills in the firsts 45 seconds.
If you're F2P, why waste time playing a game that isn't going to help you advance the current task?
It isn't 2 kills in the first 45 seconds where you win the game, so after 45 seconds, sticking around is pointless (probably quit earlier if the first kill doesn't arrive in ~20 seconds.) Pixonic set the goal, how that goal is achieve is up to the players... I'm particularly brutal in my pursuit of tasks.

I actually end up doing it in last 1 day and all other quests on my baby acc f2p too i had mk2 bot with 1 mk2 weapon from hank which rly helped me do that quest i wiped in solo 1v1 all game

Not my play style and I just ended up ignoring that task but I think it's fair to put the blame on pixonic for coming up with those conditions in the first place. |

One way to approach tasks is that they're a bonus to regular game play.
Another approach is to treat them as the primary end goal and that game play is just the vehicle to achieve that.

Most players still won’t have Shenlou but if you play regularly then you probably have an Ochokochi or 2 or 3 by now.
Play Beacon rush or Domination and charge right into the centre beacon when a player or 2 are trying to cap it. Or equip Ocho with jump jets and target those long range camping Crisis. Jumping Ocho can reach campers pretty quick especially on maps like Canyon or Springfield.

If I am chasing a "kill 2 in 45 seconds", there is no value, 0 value, to me in hanging around any more than 45 seconds if I want to tick off that task. All it does is waste time.
I've said this before and I'll say it again, time is what's important in this game.
If the blue team is 4/6 AFK hurricane launchers, am i going to stick around? No. why? Waste of my time in playing a domination match that I've 0 chance of winning.
In every game I play I try to formulate within the first minute my chances of enjoyment & success. if there's no chance of success, exit Why? Pixonic will set me up in a team of 6 where we are the seals for reds to club. If reds are squatting on the blue home beacon, I'll quite (no point spawning if I'm going to be dead before I fire a shot.) And so forth.
If Pixonic cared about this being a problem, they wouldn't introduce such tasks, so if Pixonic doesn't care, why should I?
