For starters, let's get one thing straight: I'm not calling anyone out, saying anything personally derogatory about anyone in particular (except about pixonic) or anything else. This is merely a demonstration of what's wrong with the matchmaker these days. Which, contrary to popular opinion, is NOT stacked against you.
Because look; the complexity to write a program to account for all the variables that pix is accused of is quite simply beyond their ability to code. For 「fluffernutter」s sake, it took the the better pat of a 「fluffernutter」ing DECADE to make cross platform play happen, and it was STILL bugged on release AND we STILL can't have different
platforms in the same clan. So if not that then.... what? It's pix preying on the ignorance of the new player. They get curb stomped, then see something shiny for sale CHEAP, and say to themselves: "Self, if I get THAT, I'll be IN「fluffernutter」INGVINCEABLE!" And so they do, and they are, for a time, until they get somewhere where
you NEED 5k+ games to play properly. BUT, they DON'T have that, some barely have 500 games under their belt, but here they are in champion league, playing like they are in private league still. And they have the hangars to prove it:

And I don't blame the players; EVERYBODY wants to win, and if you see something that you think will accomplish that for a mere 2.99, can you blame them for buying it? But they don't understand how to play, what to do and what not to do, where to and not to be, what a bad situation brewing looks like... the list goes on.
And again, it's not against them; pixonic 「fluffernutter」ed them. So when you lose, check the hangars, it's almost ALWAYS like this. This just so happened to be the pool of players available to make 2 teams this time, and YOU got the green weenie.

After many years playing this still awesome game I have changed my stance to be one of "hate the Playa not the game".
At this point in time, the "playas'" are enabling the cycle to continue whether it be by ignorance, ego, competitiveness, boredom or whatever other reason.
I see players that have 4 or 5 Mk3 Craptors and a bendy bullet eifell in
their hangar as part of the problem.

I don't think these are the types of losses that people are bothered by the most; it's ones where you are getting stomped by maxed out meta. And it's much harder to blame Pixonic when in beacon game where hardly any beacons are captured that meta is already going for you in your spawn zone. It doesn't even seem to be about winning at that point, but about going on a power trip.

the one and only reason for cross server was the fact that they drove everyone away and on a few platforms games wouldn't even start as there where not enough people for ONE game ....and thus this would stop the payers from playing AND paying ....been across a few platforms over the years and there where times with no games all day or night.
anyone that's been around long enough knows this and as for matchmaking ...i'm back in M1 and will soon have the rigged MM again and will film a few when i get to that point.

This argument that Pixonic has this highly personalized, intelligent program running their game is giving them way too much credit. Sorta related, but this argument is the silver bullet to a lot of government conspiracies too in my opinion, a lot of the crazy stuff people come up with are just not logistically possible in the current Information Age. |

They have ALL the angles covered. i don't fall into the trap ...i just use what i have and still kick some A ss .....my 1 bot hanger does me just fine dag/mag for the win. me in my 1 bot hanger (no titan either) with 1 other guy that didn't quit v's 2 guys on the other team pretty much lol , this is entertaining to me lol  |
