I’m bummed. I spent all my credits (3 mill) upgrading things in an attempt to win the Sollis last week. Now this comes up.
Damn you Plarium. They’re getting good at throwing a wrench into any plans I might have.

Just merging these two threads. Sorry...been on staycation for a week.
I took advantage of this deal. I already had Baron from when he was available for A-coins... Oh well...maybe next legendary pilot I'll be lucky to be able to pick up for credits like this.
The implant parts were nice though, since I'd recently spent mine in switching out some implants and then having to re-upgrade them again.

And now we have Galvan as the next pilot in a crate rush,but this one is with tokens won from events,there is nine spots for 500 credits and I think most of my spins so far except two have landed on this,gonna be a long and probably frustrating event.

Yeah, it's 65 tokens total for Galvan. You can win them all from events this week, but it will take some effort. Probably going to be some "make a purchase" tasks too, but hopefully there will be way around for f2p.

Ugggh, the "Kill 25 mechs from behind with an Attacker mech" was a real slog. I used to knock that off pretty quick with either Rocket Mortars or Disc Launchers. But now DLs are nerfed and RMs are just too slow for all the fast mechs out there. I'm glad we're getting more pvp matchups these days, but when you're grinding tasks it can be annoying. Anyway, 8 tokens down, only 57 more to go and the tusken raider death punk chihuahua will be mine!  |

You can complete both the Dev Derby and Battlethon events without doing the upgrade tasks, although you'll need to spend some AC and credits as part of the Derby. I'm definitely going to try and go for it. Spare gold pilots are useful even equipped with an off brand weapon, but ultimately I plan to get a Revoker, so chew toy boy should be useful for that. |

In case people didn't see this elsewhere already, here's the calendar of events and token yields for this gacha. Overall it lasts all the way through this week to the following Wednesday, but a lot of the events within are only for 2 days or so.

TBH, I'm not even trying. I always save my tokens for the after event pay out. Far less stress. Besides, I bet in a month or so, Galvan will be available for credits the way Baron was. We could probably even estimate when if we were keeping track of the Legendary pilot life cycle. More likely than not, Galvan will be available for the usual A-coins first, and then after that, he'll be available for credits. I don't need another CQC pilot yet so I'll just wait for the credit event and score a bunch of implant parts in the process.

Thankfully it is FFA this week. Made getting the last "Win 7 matches in a row" task easy. And the second I completed it, the MM went switched from crazed terminator to normal. Literally the next match. It is has been gunning for me so hard this entire event - I have never seen it this bad. Even teaming up wasn't enough.
Anyway, pulled it off and got my free dog bot. Box checked! ☑️

Bagged Galvan too but these win seven in a row are rough,we all know the games metrics for win streaks and I lost the seventh match so many times it's untrue.Need a break from the game but I spun all my credits on the Quantum gun event so got to get saving again.Back on that hamster wheel I go.

Yeah, Plarium leans hard on the 7 in a row task to force f2ps to make a purchase. Playing through this event, stirred up my memories from last time they did this. From what I remember there were three Accolade events also, each with a 7 in a row task. The first week (which has 2 of the Accolade events) was also during 5v5 tournament, not FFA, where it would be easy to complete this. And both times, I couldn't get 7 in a row on the second Accolade (ended up buying the Battle Pass this time to do the "make a purchase" task instead). Don't think any of that is a coincidence. Matchmaker just got worse and worse the longer the event went on. On the third Accolade, I was playing with solid squads and we kept running into top keyboard warrior teams. Anyway, this is a good reminder that it can be worthwhile holding off on buying Battle Pass until the end. I don't often get BP, but it is still a good value at least for the money, especially when it helps me score an extra 500 A-Coins and a free legendary pilot. I'm ticked at their stupid trickery, but I don't feel ripped off over the $10 I spent. |

I've literally checked out of the event. I didn't even finish the last several. I usually focus my energies on the Accolade Challenge, the one that gives 5 Fortune Keys, but not only did they take away the keys, they also added that "win 7 in a row" which is incredibly hard these days. Heck, on normal weeks, I'll often resort to 2v2 matches mid week when there are fewer people playing that mode because the Battlethon is usually over by then.
