After months of complaining how OP they are. After writing borderline hate posts about them on the forum. After deciding to leave game because of them and other meta. After losing game after game because of them.  Btw, I only got them because I saved three chips and ultimate luck lottery switched to data pads today. And of course got two of them and bunch of components that add up to nothing else. |

honestly at this point, its a gamble. Everyone says find your fun in the game. I am kinda getting my second wind of that after the last few meta cycles. Some like to keep that edge, others are more traditionalists. I run all spiders, so I accepted my non meta role and am happy with it. Why not play with it a bit, at least you will get 6 months to get some fun out of it before it gets the hammer. Actually might be better to wait until it gets its first nerf.

That's one of the reasons that stopped me from selling one or both. A lot of these bots can be quite fun and reasonably balanced after they have been nerfed. The other thought is to use them for hunting grounds, I'm able to reach only silver for stages 4 & 5. Curies should be able to help there, but I'd probably need some meta weapons too. |

yeah, everyone is getting the Curie now... You know what that means? Nerf.... incoming! Sell one, keep one. Level it if you want to use it regardless of any incoming nerfs. That's what I would do.  |

I took the curie to hunting grounds for testing. I see one immediate problem with it: as powerful as it can be, its ability simply doesn't give it distinct gameplay enough to want it. You can argue that curie and dagon are similar, just more firepower and defenses. As opposed to shenlou or raptor, which add new play style or at least expand on something that's already there. As such, nerfed or not, upgraded or not, I do not see curie(s) taking place in my primary hangar.
It's also looking bleak for hunting grounds. Sure, curie can deal with ticks well but that's nothing that my other bots cannot do. And as a matter of fact, seraph is still the best to deal with early weak hordes. In stages 4 & 5 the spiders are so tanky you allegedly need a meta titan with bendy bullets/flamers to take them down. So doesn't look like curie will help much with HG either.

And as a matter of fact, seraph is still the best to deal with early weak hordes. Thanks for relaying that info. I was reluctant to level anything else because no doubt they will change up the format soon enough. The only bot I have that can complete level 4 stage 2 is a Fafnir. All other levels seem reasonably easy using a shell and luchador with cinders. In regards to the curies, personally I would not level them because they are due for a huge nerf to the healing ability I reckon, along with the subduers but it makes sense if you want to level them to run them when they are not so ridiculous. *Edit. I decided to have a go at the ultimate shmuck game as you mentioned you get the data pads again. Payouts might be a little generous by Pix standards coming to the end of the event. All up I used around 12 tokens that were sitting there gathering dust anyway and now can field a super meta hangar with a couple of Raptors, Pathfinder, Curies and enough comps for multiples of the new magnetic weapons from all the red silver data pad openings. On top of that, got to the top of the 2 leaderboards for opening red and purple pads so got an ultimate data pad (only a medium punisher as the reward) and another purple gold pad from the other leaderboard. |

I've kept one, mainly for sketch reference, but I like it to be there, watching, while I carry on running its 'inferiors'. That kid that never gets picked for a team. Not because he can't play. Just because nobody likes him.

It’s actually not that strong without the weapons and something like the pascal drone so don’t feel bad running it. Not to mention you may not have the pilot or the rss to get all the essential pilot skills to turn it into a killing machine.
Regarding Hunting Ground option……choose Shell or Hellburner instead to get PT from Stage 3.

Stopped running the Curie when the Shenlou came out. Yes it's strong, but boring as heck to play. No teleporting, jumping, cool abilities or anything. You literally run around with subduers being extremely annoying. Yawn.

Not to mention you may not have the pilot or the rss to get all the essential pilot skills to turn it into a killing machine. Regarding Hunting Ground option……choose Shell or Hellburner instead to get PT from Stage 3. Yup, just got it. Turns out made two mistakes. First, using level 7 seraph with decays (1.5,1.6) was almost good enough but not always able to deliver 100k or less damage. Ophion with MK2 hazards solved that problem. Second, with shell you can't kill 3-4 ticks (or whatever they are called) at a time and hope you'll fill the titan meter fast enough. When I started gathering them in large numbers it worked, but before that my shell was not leveled enough to take the abuse. As for curie, you bring up other good points: I simply do not have good enough heavy weapons (the best I have are MK2 avengers  ). And I have pilot for ANY bot, except, yes you guessed it, curie. But the bottom line is what Wolfblood7 wrote, it's just too boring to play. |

In stage 3 the weak spiders charge up the repair amps and with healing module, you’ll last long enough to charge up titan meter fast enough. I only killed spiders using Shell’s ability else the trick doesn’t work. |

Epilogue: Curie got relegated to secondary hangar and hunting grounds only. It's at 1.10 now and yet to get me to those next levels in stages 4 & 5. Recently though I got something I really like and could use. 10$ and a lot of luck:   Btw, not that I recommend spending but I should mention that if you go to the War Robots store they have one time only deal where you can get 10$ worth of War Robots currency for 5$. |
