I've never needed to level modules for my hangar before. I maxed 2 Immune amps as a test to see if there was any difference, and it wasn't very noticeable.
Somehow after the update all my stuff is getting wiped out in 1v1s I always won before. I have changed nothing. Only difference I have between the opposition is they probably have maxed modules and I don't.
I swear they've buffed maxed modules. Or done something to make them actually require levelling, because you didn't even need to level them to get frequent living legends. Was wondering if anyone else was experiencing changes?

I'm not sure they would be able to get away with that without actually changing the stats to suit.
For example, If it says 10% damage increase, it is easy enough to prove if it is accurate or not by performing tests.
Now things like messing around with hit box sizes, weapon bugs etc. have been proven to be messed around with by pixonic and I wouldn't put it past them to mess with some things as new releases come out to make the newer stuff seem more powerful.
Semi off topic. I have heard a rumour that pixo is working on a "rework" of the modules system as it has become stale for their income as many players are using the same maxed modules and not buying/upgrading more.
Maybe something along the lines of the great drone scam or boosters rip off could be on the cards?
I am not upgrading modules at all for the time being as a temporary precaution.

or make them like mothership weapons, taking them off a robot destroys them.
I think the simple outcome here is a new currency that you need to buy to upgrade modules. No more silver upgrades for modules.
So the advice should be, max out your modules with upgrades because later it will be harder/impossible without spending $$.

Hmm that's also a possibility. My money is on a system where they will take it away and provide "compensation" at a miniscule amount like the boosters/drones reworks so your silver investment and power cells might take a hit.

I can't see them taking away modules. They're a counter balance to some of the op-ness of various bots. They're now required to keep the game in balance.
At the moment we have titan modules and robot modules. The titans cost Pt to buy & upgrade, as do their modules. Robots require either silver or gold to buy, silver to upgrade.
What I could see happening is that modules that cost Au to buy require Au to upgrade or they make it "less confusing and simpler" by having a new currency just for robot modules because hey, why not? Currency for every other 「fluffernutter」ing part of the game.
It's like being able to buy a car with American dollars, needing Mexican pesos for a motorbike, and Canadian dollars for a truck.

No Hablo
I'm the opposite.
Barring my baby account I've NEVER run non-maxxed modules and couldn't imagine any other way.

Also, immune amps give +16% health per, so.....

Most interesting discussion on “modules”, thank you all. Sadly, we are damed if we do upgrade them to max and damed if we don’t. Who really knows, but we can bank on Pixonic wanting to make more money.

Apparently there's a module "rework" coming. Might have to start leveling some.
