I have a lvl 9 carney in mothballs that I break out from time to time with thunders or tridents, just not fond of either. I was thinking I may like it more with Zeus from what I've heard you guys saying. But thats a lot of gold to gamble with. I know for a fact I like my Plasmahad and wouldn't mind another. With the meta changing again soon, what would be the safest bet ?

I rather enjoy zues carny. With your playstyle Im not sure youd like sitting at 600m.

Can you buy a used one for 3k? All jokes aside, too slow and boring for me. Then theres the fact that I would need another trident, 3 trebs or an Ancile as well.

I would go Zeus Carnage then. Just hope you don't have problems with the Zeus bug.

With Zeus Carny, he doesn't have to stay at 600m. 351m is enough to avoid the deadly Ancile-ignoring plasma (ok, let's say 400m to be able to get away if a Griffin jumps or a Gareth rushes you). Baiting plasma bots to come out of cover to get you is a valid use of Zeus Carny build, especially lovely when you manage to lure a shield bot into crossfire.

Voted twin zues as I love my twin Zues Carnage.
Regarding the 'zues bug', I fire one zues, wait a second and then fire the other. So far this has given me full damage with each shot, so long as the target does not get behind cover while being hit. At least as far as I can tell.
My only complaint about the zues carny is that you can easily find yourself well out of range of friendlies easily.

A big no no to dual Galahads. Even more if the new mechanics for silver rockets come out. Go for Zeus or save for Ancilot, Fury is meh TBH.

If you don't have a midranger then get the Zues for your Carnage. It'll out DPM a Trident Fury and is only out shot by a Zues Fury. Once bought it can potentially stay in your hangar for forever. You can run something else that's cheaper in place of another Galahad but in my opinion a Zues Carnage is irreplaceable. I have two Galahads in my hangar and one will probably be replaced in the future for a Lancelot but I have no intention of ever replacing my Zues Carnage. Maybe, one day when I've bought everything else I will replace it with a Zues Fury but that's a very long time away. Nothing like having a midranger that can remove a threat then rush in and cap the beacon then has the firepower to sit and hold off the next wave. I have a mid-ranger, a RDB Griff (see above pic) that I like very much

I had plans on making the Gala an Ork/pinata DB and replace the DB Griff with it, if I go the Galahad route Galahad is not a good DB platform, there's no other bot that wears this build better than the Griff. I would just stick with one Gala, also you should consider 2 more Orkans if you dont have those yet.

I like to keep a diversified weapons hangar and running 4 orkans would sway me too far into short range splash and not enough plasma than I want. My mix works for my style

Love my Zeus carny! I love the lock so u don't have to worry about a wasted shot like with tridents. Yes shield bots are a problem but move around and get on the side then no problem. Plus everyone and their brother has a Griff so feed on them

I ended up going with the Zues carney for a few reasons. One was that I already have a Galahad if I need one. And two, with the meta changing soon with rockets and dash bots, I figure this to be the safest bot combo. For the record, I really do love it so far and glad I did it. Thanks guys !
