So the lazy geniuses at the pixie creative department thought that players would enjoy a game mode that pits 4 of the (potentially) MOST fun bots in the game against some lone jumping meta beastybot that tries to kill them before they can flip beacons to win a game. I know its been out for a few weeks and you have probably tried it, but let an old manchild rant ffs. A game where 4 weapon stripped Cossacks move about as fast as a 2016 Griffin after an all you can eat pancake dinner. Are you effin kidding me? A game where you get the most beacons AND win AND come in last place AND receive a big stale donut for your time?  Kind of a lame rant by anybodys standards, but 「whiskey tango foxtrot」?!! Is this bull「dookie」 some kind of training ground exercise for their AI? I feel like I was coerced into participating in some medical experiment created by a degenerate childhacker in training, then an orangutan threw a handful of 「dookie」 at me and some got in my mouth. I feel punked. I feel dirty. I need a shower |

Ha, classic!.
I think pixonic are just making the rules up as they go, kind of like that "BASEketball" movie starring the Southpark creators.
Next game mode might just be hamsters running on a hamster wheel.

No rewards makes it utterly pointless. Tried it twice and got bored after that.

Just go back in the forum posts and the same BS has been going on for years.
The meta meatheads just cant stop themselves. Must have every ue bot and 5 of every meta bot, drone etc.
If it wasnt so tragically stupid id find it funny.
I assume they like face humping at centre for entire matches....oh what fun

Yeah. That mode is dumb and utterly useless. But it passes the time I suppose. Played it four times so far. 4th time got to be the cat. Oh and did I eat up the mice. Lol

I had similar experience, had 5 beacons capped or so and player in top place had one or zero. Being in second place I also won nothing. I think what is happening is that not being killed weighs more than capping beacons. So to make it more challenging possibly as a mouse you are competing not only with the cat but other mice as well. I would like to hear from somebody who placed first as mouse in a winning game. Did you get any rewards then? If not, then it is all just a huge wasted effort by Pixo. The novelty of this mode wears out after 2-3 games tops and then it's just pointless. But say you get something decent for the first place as mouse, say 500k silver and 100 gold. Then it could be interesting since would want to cap beacons to win the game, but on the other hand you don't want to stick your neck out too much to place first. |
