New passive modules, introduced monthly, just like they did to the drones (1/4 to 1/3 exchange rate = screw current players for future profits). Tiers will be introduced (see Drones) to unlock each level/ability and they will sell us a new currency too.

I haven’t seen the above videos, but can somebody tell me what was wrong/broken about the current module suite? Once again I smell a LARGE monetization rat with Pix.

none of my modules are maxed, except one fortifier. still, I hope it's not going to be another hit like they did on drones

Noting the monetisation trend of late, this will probably be more aggressive than the drones rework. Currency for the upgrades will probably be ungrindable and more expensive than memorium.
Stop levelling modules.

My bet is they do the bot mods like the motherships. Once equiped....you cant move them... This will then lead to peeps needing more of the same bots with diff load outs.
But u know...doesnt seem to matter.... There are clearly two camps.... The low spend or ftp who want some semblance of a decent game and the spenders/ pixo cheerleaders who just cant live without paid for advantage to offset the feeling of having a small 「lightning rod」.
Being a buisness ...thr small 「lightning rod」's win.

The entire business and game is utterly filthy already, and yet they manage to go lower still. At this point (going along with the aforementioned theme), its not so much of a game, as it is a brothel.
My Son played a match last night, and went back to Roblox straight away. Same thing he said before about War Robots, "Its boring now", then followed up with "If I build anything new, its just going to get taken away, so not gonna try" (he means nerfed at some point sooner than later). What I found really funny is that he mentioned that he's unsub'd from all the War Robots content creators.

Most players in Champions League already have the big 3 modules maxed, i.e. RA, NA, IA, on all their bots.
Players aren't spending resources on modules any more, which means Pixonic has to make changes (basically reset everything to zero), so they can sell all the same stuff to us again.
They're pretty genius (and ugly) when it comes to finding ways to make money.
Imagine after making car payments for 5 years and working hard to pay off your car, the car dealer disassembles your car, and asks you to purchase the car again, this time at an even higher price than you originally paid for it. This is Pixonic.

All my mods are level one because, surprise, I didn’t level them. I did stick them on bots where pretty much they stay forever. Similar to all the recent reworks, I think I’ll weather the storm just fine due to my conscientious objector status.   |
