You know truth be told non of the previous Ultimates peaked my interest enough to really chase them, like the UE Ares and Fenrir are pretty neat but Fenrir isn't really my playstyle and Ares just didn't stand out enough for me... what I had really wanted was an Ao Jun... A true terror of the skies to rain down fire in style... and "hopefully" not be gutted like non UE's, which considering the whole point of UE's is "old stuff but buffed to be competitive" It could be the case... Do I trust that completely? Absolutely not, wouldn't be the first time Pix has lied about something lol. However... After lucking out and getting 1 Ultimate Calamity on a data pad... I knew all it would take is a bit more to complete all the tasks for the other... and so... 12 down and 5 to go Luckily keeping up with the tasks hasn't been too expensive so far... and I'm in it to win it now, though if it gets the classic "it flies it dies" treatment like anything else in a couple months despite being UE... Yeah jokes on me, but taking a gamble I suppose lol.

Good luck! Nothing wrong with pushing yourself for a bit if it tickles your fancy, that is how you find your fun! Hopefully your richer opponents on the leaderboards are not too interested themselves though.

Watched a video of the UE ao jun in action and it looks like a bit of fun but just like some of the others, falls way short against meta stuff.
All the players who rushed to get the orkan spectre and spent 10k gold per spin on the bingo roulette wheel must surely be disappointed with their "museum investment".
I still want an UE Mender though, so it shows pixonic have been able to "trick" us into investing in what we already have/had to relive those glory days.

The task is complete Now I just need to mk3 it and finish the Pilot... This is going to be fun

Funnily enough an Ultimate data pad was on the end of the last leaderboard chain I needed to complete... And I got an Ultimate Edition Mender from it, So I think that will be another future project... And yeah I will say that while UE Ao Jun isn't the best of the best end all be all indestructible monster... that's not why I wanted it... I love flying bots and have for a while, I have an Unknown Seraph and Ardent Imugi in my main hanger at this very moment, and there was an Ophion but you know what happened there... I wanted a strong and speedy flying terror... and for it to have some meaningful longevity... And now I do

Nice one NexusBladeThat looks like it could be a lot of fun Thank you Currently working on leveling it up, one change is I decided to level Alika instead of Yang, get an extra boost out of the already strong flames, might level Yang later too if Stealth starts being a problem at some point but I figure maximizing the damage will serve more utility at this point. Also her color scheme works well with the UE Ao Jun so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

slightly off topic, buttttttttttt I am guessing its too late to try an win a UE invader? Not saying I am gonna go buy a bunch of doritoes for the thing, but since there are so many UE bots now, how do you know which one you will win? I am sure most dont care which one, I was just curious. As long as I dont have to spend real money or sell a kidney or anything.

As far as UE availability is concerned you basically have a couple options, when they're new there's usually a leaderboard task chain that you complete to acquire a part or parts of the new set, and then the rest will require some luck in the Ultimate Data Pads, after the initial event ends your only option is seeing if it appears in a UE Datapad and going for it, or crossing your fingers and trying Ultimate luck but as far as I know that only has the UE Orkan in it.

Do you keep UE Ao Jun next to UE Ao Ming?
How about 5*UE Ao Jun and UE Ao Ming in one hanger?

Well considering I just recently started going for Ultimates my stockpile isn't that big, currently I have 1 UE Jun, 1 UE Mender, 2 UE Calamity's, 1 UE Pulsar, and 1 UE Orkan, besides acquiring them let alone duplicates is easier said than done to begin with, Also leveling them is a 「female dog」 and a half lol.

Trying really hard to stay positive and not turn this into a rant. I love the fact that Pixonic knows how gutted the original Ao Jun was so is selling us the skills back with stealth on takeoff/landing and throwing in some extra abilities as well.
I just noticed that the UE Calamities don't have the lock on malarkey as well. Something that has been outdated for many years now.

I just noticed that the UE Calamities don't have the lock on malarkey as well. Something that has been outdated for many years now. You know I agree completely, it's the reason I both love and hate UE's... Like in an ideal world where pix actually cared about balance UE's wouldn't exist as they would just buff the old ones, which they easily could have done but instead are reselling them at an inflated cost... The only real upside to them other than just generally looking cooler is that while just buffing older stuff would be better overall for more people in general... there is the inescapable reality about this game... if it's popular or gets in the way of newer content... whether or not it needs a nerf... it will get gutted to push the new hot item, it's the never ending cycle and it's never going to stop... and I do hate that, but thats the benefit of UE gear... it's harder to get, less likely to saturate hangers by design... and most people will snatch up the regular new fancy stuff... Meaning you're more likely to get some meaningful longevity from the UE Gear, which is a genuine first... Now is it a case of pix creating a problem and selling the solution? Absolutely, I'm not praising them for it... but for what it is... and how it's unlikely we'll ever get better than this... I'll take it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Ran into a guy twice yesterday, once red, once blue. His title was "Living Legend" in gold, and was running a UE Mender. As a red, that little bot took damage from three of us blue titans at once, and just wouldn't die.
A long way of saying that "yeah, you really do want that UE Mender"

Yeah the UE Mender is pretty solid, especially with Marie. You get more repair pulses, more durability, extra damage, the defense points cannot be mitigated, and upon hitting 0 hp you restore 100% of your repairable durability, as far as repair bots go it is unrivaled and it can serve as a solid knife fighter as well. I've seen one here and there and they usually put up a good fight.
