I think I've now got more crisises robots than anything else... well maybe I've got more Griffins from back when they were tough.... but how many do I need? Should I start selling some rather than let them gather dust?

I usually keep one normal edition and one special edition of each robot. If I really foresee myself using multiples of a robot, maybe I will keep multiples of either version, but this is rare. One normal and one special gives you two of each bot that often look rather different, so I think that is a good balance of variety and availability.

I have two Ravens, but I don't think I have duplicates of anything else. And I currently have 3-4 bots that I really have only kept because I *suppose* I might be interested in doing something with them sometime but mostly they're just there because I haven't decided I'd rather use the silver for something I actually like. Things like a Reaper Crisis, or a Skyros, or a couple of other meta (or ex-meta) bots.
Like, I've got an Ardent Blitz with Ardent Gusts, with the whole shebang at Level 1. I'm never going to build it, but it's an oddity that I've kept on hand.

It depends. I have multiples of bots I like. Full hangar of griffins, Cossacks, and bolts for six pak. 5 orochis cause they are fun and challenging to use. But that’s it for full hangars. Two Loki’s, cause I like being a pain in a red’s butt. Used to have two maxed Bullies, but pix be pix and ruined that for me.

1 regular, 1 special edition of each type, e.g. Frozen Leech and Scarab Leech.
If I don't have a bot and it's available to build in the workshop, I'm building it. I always have something building in the workshop.

 most here know about my unicorn story, so there’s that. I will just do hangar by hangar… 1, main. 4 arachnid invaders, 1 weyland 2, healer. 4 weylands, 1 arachnid invader 3, old school. 4 invaders, 1 arachnid invader 4, OG spiders. Jaeger, solid jaeger, Fujin, Rayker, raijin 5, new school fam spiders. Weyland, imugi, ardent imugi, skyros, freedom skyros first three are leveled up pretty much. Last two I is a mix, haven’t done much with the rollypollies or flying moooogies. yes, I like spider bots. the rest of the garage is just about 1 of every bot and special edition bot, except the latest meta. Last thing I bought was a few arachnids yrs ago when they were finally for sale, 3.99. The rest were either workshopped or won. |

I have collected one of everything thing except for a a couple of the special ed new ones.
I have a full hangar of MK3 Reaver Bolts because why the 「fluffernutter」 wouldn't you.
I have the UE versions of Fujin, Mender and Fenrir.
I also kept a museum of OG bots at L1 for if I ever did 6Pack. I then decided I would do 6pack and leveled them up and loaded two hangars for that. I still haven't found the time for 6pack.
I have two MK3 Shutzes and Golems. Keep the dream alive.
If you need the silver sell but there can always be regret.

If I like it, 2-3.
Unless it's a ravana, then it's 5, the number is 5.
The rest get sold.
Keep:
6 light weapons
4-8 medium, depending if there's a bot I like to put it on and I like the weapon
4 Heavy
Every other weapon gets sold.
Well, except the 1 normal, for the collector title.

Yeah, I keep one of each normal and each special when I can get them. 4 of each weapon, and 4 of any specials there too. I keep them as a resource library for my sketches, and more recently, for extracting the meshes to play with in blender. I still only ever field the same small group of bots ingame though. I never really have more than 1 of any bot and it`s very rare that more than 1 gets levelled when I do and even then some of them eventually get sold when they become useless. Think I`ve only ever had 2 Scorpions, 2 Hawks and 2 Ophions all levelled up and in use and have since sold one of the Scorpions and a Hawk. Currently have a 2nd Ocho and a 2nd Dagon unlevelled. Multiples usually get sold straight away and everything else usually gets sold for Ag eventually.

IMO it depends on your approach to the game. Pix wants and steers players to conform to their their scheme of “progressing thru the game”, but this is only one option. I chose preference over progress years ago and I am still having fun and shattering illusions 57K wins later. So having 3 full hangars of Ssacks, Rogs and Striders for so many years has given me many, many reps in each of those bots. Soooooo, 5.

I have 2 maxed Hovers, 2 Cthulhu Ares, 4 Typhon (1 Warrior), 3 Crises, 2 Fafnir, 2 Scorps, 2 Hades.
I really enjoy these bots and run 3+ active hangars.
Everything else it's 1 or less. I don't keep bots I don't enjoy running.
These days you can generally buy a Mk2 of any bot you want for a few bucks so IMHO no real value in keeping them unleveled in storage.

Four Lokis with number 5 getting built in the workshop. Two Phantoms - my kind of assassin bot.
I dunno how many Griffins. Some from when you could still get into champs with a DB or Plasma Griff, a couple new ones for six pack.
A bunch of light level 1 prizes from who knows what. Gareths and Stalkers mostly. I could sell them I suppose, for big $ilver, right? Along with the 40 or so odd Punishers in storage. But then who knows - I'd want them for something. Like right now I'm jonesing for a Boa, and who knows how many of those I sold back in the day.

I have 5 Hovers-enough for a full hangar. Two Raijin because they’re so fun to play; two Cossacks, two Griffins, two Leos, two Gareths and two Natashas because I’m sentimental. I have one each of everything else both SE and standard versions. Aside from my Hovers, I wouldn’t field more than two identical robots in one hangar, but usually 5 vastly different types in each hangar.

I keep one or two of every MM (non-6Pack) bot plus one or two of every SE, that I get my hands on. I only keep the two's of bots I really enjoy. There are bots I don't have.
I also kept all of my 6P legal bots that were leveled too high when I discovered 6P. They generally range from 1.7 to 1.9. I have 5 Mk3 Vityazes and 1 Mk3 Golem. Milty understands.
As for 6 Pack, I originally wanted 5 of every bot. I started this just after Shutze was pulled from the store. This is why I have a full boat of Boas and Golems. I 5-of-ed every silver bot instantly as soon as Shutze got pulled. I still only have three 1.6 Shutzes and one 1.9 one. Everything else I have at least five of. Several of them I have up to fourteen of now (looking at you, Leo) because when you want to run 5 6 Pack hangars simultaneously you run out of bots.
