Since my best gaming time is in the morning, when the Whale Clans are rarely out, I do like:
Being able to run maxed non-meta bots and stil have a reasonably effective time with it. I can introduce Bot variety/freshness/FUN and not be a huge detriment to my team.
It's been a blast running Nightingale here and there. Low-hovering over CB on Carrier has been a blast. Reminding noobs how to do things Old Skool is refreshing.
The nerfs have actually opened things up to a little more variety. Just a couple weeks ago everybody had to run 2 x Ophions and 2 x Ochokochis or get run over. Ugh.

I see more froodles and other weps lately as well. very refreshing to see more variety

I agree. This last update opened the door for more variety and fun. Wish it would remain like this. The bendy titan weapons are a bit harsh, but not like the Screwton titan meta. At least you can take cover and actually move your robot.
Got smoked by a Froodle orochi today and was happy about it. Haha. Was nice to see.

Hmmmm... Nightingale... There's one I have never run before. I did build one in the workshop. Maybe time to give it a go.

The first couple of weeks after an update are usually a bit fun before the next meta kicks in. People are still finding out how bad the Ochotoki is now and thus have not switched to Curie or Shenlou yet, giving us that grace period where things are varied for a while. Enjoy it while it lasts!

yeah, there's always going to be something to hate on, but the trick is to keep an eye open for the good things. Nice one Ollie.
I've never stopped noticing the older gear on the maps, but I also see more of it around lately. All Pix is promoting is an insurgency

I need to figure out what to run on my Nightingale since it had been doing well with the Labrys/Ksiphos combo (although, I have to admit, Cestus is still working well on my Orochi). Maybe stabbies, or maybe I can look into Cryo/Rime again. |

The range is a little annoying, but they hit hard and have auto-reload, which I think makes them a perfect fit for Nightingale’s hit-and-run and dive-bomb attacks. |
