For me AT's are dropped,to be that close and do such less damage makes the weapon done for,I swapped mine out on the Surge for Carbines and for now are enjoying better damage and distance.
As a mobile player I don't see the DL nerf a big problem as it was hard to maximize the splash damage like PC players could. For now mine are staying as I'm not seeing a big difference and I'm still seeing them on the battlefield today.
And I don't care what Paylarium say I see the Pod Guns as their expensive replacement for DL's,good range, the sticky pods can be slightly bent towards the target and the damage is painful. My maxed Ares with shield up took a full salvo straight on and it took the bot out in that one magazine.
What's you guys thoughts and changes ?.

I haven't had any issues with the ATs yet. Most of my engagements are under 30m and I do have a purple range implant that increases max range to almost 60m.
As for DLs...I'll report back later. I recently started doing what everyone else is doing and put DLs 16 on my Panther and shelved my GB16 because it's just too hard to chase campers out of hiding and the GB16 takes too long to kill high HP targets.
But CB12 on Surge? I'd tried that a couple of times but the DPS is just too low and I can't kill targets fast enough. I keep hoping they will buff Carbines so that I can use them again.

Very initial impressions, but doubling the ATs optimal range is nice, the rest definitely requires some adjustments in playstyle but it seems like it will be workable. My feeling is that ATs will be pretty much a Surge-only weapon, to get in the 30m optimal range, but that's how I ran them anyway. Kinda happier now that I have Surge freeze radius implant on my AT pilot.
DL12s still seem like they work on Stalker, with ability active. Assume the same for Brickhouse and Orion. So far DL16s haven't been good, but I really haven't been able to deploy them well to test.
MGs seem a little better but still not a breakthrough for my off-brand pilot.
Be wary guys of the MM/AI being cranked up for a while to force you into impulse purchases. I realize I was testing nerfed weapons, but I definitely had a few uber-aggressive AI matches this morning.

On the flip side, the NL buff is nice but not a game changer and doesn't really make me want to use this weapon more.

I imagine we're all probably subscribed to Scape's channel, but still, interesting idea here. I forget what FG12s cost in the Gear Hub, but I feel it is like 60+k in credits. I actually got them just to upgrade a few levels for some event task, so whatever it is, it is cheap. Of course, then there are the upgrade costs. 🤔
Embers are still the shotgun to get, but I have run into players who have used FGs effectively against me. As a 2nd shotgun, instead of Arcs, they could be interesting. Although I don't remember what the implant possibilities are.
That said, I feel like these are mostly a Nomad weapon and Embers are a better one. We're still missing a legendary shotgun and after these nerfs, I'd imagine it will drop soon. And NL12 can be good up close, plus it has DL replacing potential, especially post-buff. So I'm not going to be rushing to rank up my FG12s anytime soon, but still this is an interesting idea.

Hmm, I didn't think about FGs because I always thought the EGs were just gonna be better.

I will play in a bit and see. But about the Podgun, I like that the pods stick to Aegis' shield even after it ends. It was kind of cool to see.

I just had someone shoot a bunch of pods onto my Aegis' shield and they just went "pop pop pop" after a bit. At least now I know what was hitting me a few days ago when my mech suddenly got painted green for a sec and I lost a bunch of HP!

The dl 8s on my Aegis are working well for my 2900sp hangar.

Those are the words they used in their response to my complaint to Support. Curiously they seem to have mucked with MM in the last update, too. I’ve been getting hammered bad by legions of well-ranked magic mechs, particularly a mass of cryo weapons. Feels like my last days of W R, when I spent most of every game either frozen or in slow motion. And 1-shot-kills also seem to be on the rise as well. Losses are definitely piling up at a faster pace. I fear the end may (again) be near.
