Longtime player who took a seriously longtime not playing too much. I’ve realized I’ve got four Pantagruels in stock. Are they any good? Would they be any good on a really well leveled Nodens with fully leveled modules?
Thanks.

I think most players here would say that they're not that great. I'm currently running 2 Pantagruel and 2 Lanterns on the Heimdall. Everything maxed, and in Champions League. I think they're OK. Damage-wise, not that great, but you can definitely get some kills on regular bots. Not so much on Titans. The healing component, and being able to hit stealth enemies are pretty cool features. I like them.

They are going to be tough in higher leagues. Against anything with an energy shield, that has to be depleted before you get heals. The beam will turn greenish when it is giving you the heals. I like being able to hit stealth with them. That is a plus.
They don’t suck, but are just ok. Not meta for sure.

yeah. I like the 'magnetics'. I never know how much healing I'm getting, but it feels good knowing it's there. as other have said, the ability to fight blind is a big plus

They are good for PvE stages as crowd control weapons that also heal you.
That and Gargantuas on an Ao Ming or Eiffel can help you reach milestones and get rss!
Don’t bother trying them on normal games unless all you have is retaliators

Ran a leveled Nodens w Pantas as described up thru low Masters. Frogstomp. And Krackeners tilted that meta. Forced to put on two Oxy or Evora for more personal attacks. But at that level, with the right setup for mods; Titan Repair, Damage Control, Grand Reactor, you can roll out at 1.3 MIL HP. Not too shabby for a bot that isn’t expected to kill things, but always seems to do so.
I would not run it as a random and Masters, as no one knows how to teammate anymore. They either won’t recognize you, and your ability, or are too busy rushing into the situation that will get them killed. Squadding with one can be fun. If you are lucky enough to drop in and find a well, equipped Mender, or a tricked out Demeter, and a pilot who knows what they’re doing, you could last for a long time and sustain pushes. All through Expert and Low Masters, believe it or not, I know that this last minute press could change the game.
I will now take my lumps for driving the same Titan for 3 years.
oh, and if I saved your patooskie, you’re welcome

They are decent, but obviously are not winning any awards. They can hurt when leveled up, and the stealth bypass and multi-bot targeting are really cool, but they definitely loose to newer weapons. Try them out and if you fancy them, they should serve you well enough.

Post nerf I hope you crush red scum with your Titan!! :-)

To be honest you would be better served saving your resources and putting them towards something better. Sadly Pantagruel and Gargantua are definitely not meta.
