As a F2P, I did an "get extra gold" offer where I played a different game for about 8 days, and doing so netted me about 400k gold. However, I am struggling to figure out good ways to spend it. With gold no longer being used for pilots and drones, the ways to spend gold seem very limited.
Currently, I have only spent a little over 30k gold. I bought 6 nuclear reactors, and have rushed some upgrades during a 40% silver discount.
The ways I can think of to spend gold:
Did I miss any ways to spend gold?
Out of all of these, I would say speeding up upgrades during 40% silver discounts is the best gold sink for me at the moment, unless I am missing something. I am also considering buying Magnetars for my Khepri, and Hussars for my Ophion (only if the upcoming buffs make it to the live servers).
For my Revenant, I am very tentatively thinking about switching to 1x Nucleon or 1x Redeemer or 1x Puncher/2x Quarker or 2x Shredder or 2x Magnetar, or just full flame weapons. I feel like Nucleon/Quarker would be good on Revenant since it is a point blank brawler tank, being a tank it probably gets better use out of cycle DPS weapons rather than burst DPS weapons like Glory/Halo, and since it teleports in point blank the huge spread Nucleon/Quarker get when they overheat is not an issue. Remember that I am only considering weapons that you can buy for gold, so weapons like Sonic shotguns aren't an option. (I am currently building medium Blast shotguns in my workshop atm.)
I am not too sure what option is best, I just know I need to switch my Revenant to a different weapon setup, because Acid weapons are AWFUL against aegis shields.
Looking for any helpful advice.

The ways I can think of to spend gold:
- Upgrade bots/equipment to mk2
- Buy modules (already done)
- Boosting pilots to increase their level
- Speeding up upgrades (very effective to do this during 40% silver discounts)
- Buying silver (boosting upgrades during a 40% silver discount is superior so I would never buy silver with gold)
- Re-rolling for, and buying pilots in the training center
- Buying skins for robots (the ones that give 5% HP boosts)
- Buying weapons/robots (many workshop bots/weapons can just be straight up bought for 7k and 14k gold respectively)
- Buying hangar decks (I have the second hangar for PVE, and I am so far away from having a maxed hangar that making another one won't happen for a long time for me)
