I thought about putting this under the “The Impossible Might be Happening” thread, but this is worth its own announcement I think. As of today, it appears that the new friends system has finally been fully rolled out after a frustrating week and a half of waiting, and I must admit, Pixonic finally did something good here!
All players on all platforms, including PC (we had a steam player successfully play 6 Pack with us last night), can now make squads and custom games together, and now without the need for Facebook. Players can now friend each other in-game by searching each others’ ID (visible on your profile) or clicking on each others’ profiles from battle history, squad/custom menu, or wherever else.
You can manage your friends in the clan menu, as there are now tabs for seeing your friends list and seeing incoming requests. As I have said before, now is the time to join 6 Pack, the Time Drops, or the Sage Tournaments if you want to!
