Also in this update, they’re displaying Inventory Power instead of Squad Power. Wondering what the significance if that is. Luckily I only have three mechs in my inventory, but I do have a crapload of weapons I’ll never, ever use again. One thing this is likely to discourage is upgrading unused crap just to complete a task. Well fine, if that’s the way they want it, from now on I’m only upgrading the gear I’m using. I don’t understand half of what these people do in this game.

I think the advantage of seeing inventory power is that at a quick glance, you can see a potential Friend's overall progress to see if it's close to yours. Unfortunately though, that person could have similar inventory power but be running a tiny hangar and you wouldn't know under after you've friended them...I suppose you could always unfriend them after...

I like this. Yeah, it's 625 for the 1st and 2250 for the second, but that's a one-time charge and way better than War Robots hangar prices were (and you don't need get more mechs to fill it).
I can definitely use this for squadding. Between levelling pilots, whittling down Achievements, and just trying out new setups for fun, there are always like 3-5 changes I need to do for squad. I'll be swapping like mad between match invites hoping to get my hangar ready before we draw a human team as opponents. This will be super convenient.
I think the point of the inventory score is for 1) before you friend someone 2) squad invites and 3) clan recruitment. People are now playing all kinds SPs, but now you can tell if they can field a hangar near your level. Inventory ratings are already used within clans.
FYI - you have to manually update the game on Android before you can access this feature. And here a screenshot of the YT announcement since they didn't do one in-game:

I think it's only worth it if you were allowed to make completely different hangars in each. Like, your mechs and pilots kept their levels, but the implant parts went back into a pool. This way, you can reassign your implants to different pilots for different builds. The way it is right now, everything is kept the same as your original hangar, so you'll need to acquire more implants for different builds.

Can you use a mech in multiple presets? I only have three mechs and two slots open. I’m wondering if I can have two presets, for example one with Tengu and Lancer, and one with Tengu and Paragon. I do have a third weapon set and corresponding pilot to outfit three mechs, I just refuse to open the third slot.

And you switch the weapons and pilots so the configuration for your Tengu in hangar #1 is totally different than hangar #2. Only thing you cannot change is implants. FYI if you pay to open a 2nd hangar, it'll have the same number of open slots as your first one. If you ever unlock your 3rd/4th/5th mech slots, they automatically are unlocked for all your hangars.

Makes setting up a separate tanking hanger easy peasy. 🙄

Makes setting up a separate tanking hanger easy peasy. 🙄 The MM now adjusts for SP every time. It also only takes the highest SP hangar into account for matchmaking. A low level hangar will still face the same SPs as the strongest hangar. The only way to "tank" now is running a high rank Killshot with low rank/level everything else so the zip-splat OTKs and it's beefy enough for uncommon mechs/weapons to be unable to effectively kill it. The only things that can actually retaliate against that are the paid only R2/3 legendary items.

Went ahead and got my 2nd hangar yesterday. Already kinda hankering for the 3rd, so I don't have to switch everything from tourney to CPC when my bracket is competitive. Given the cost I won't be doing that anytime soon but still.
Using the 2nd hangar for squad preset and it is super convenient. Set it up and then when you get a squad invite just click on the hangar tab, select the hangar, and then accept the invite. Once you've selected a hangar, that's what you'll keep playing.
Interestingly, you can have different paint jobs on the same mechs between hangars. It actually goes to default paints when you first purchase the hangar, so I had to go through all my mechs and set the paints. A bit of a pain since I always use the Slava Ukraini one, but for folks who like to play different paint jobs and switch it up, this is a little perk.

So, if you wanted to switch out pilots builds completely and you wanted to change implants, do you have to remove the implants with the usual 70% hit and does it remove the implants on the pilots in your other hangar?

Yes. Implants are the only thing that you can't customize. If you change them, the change applies across all hangars. Which as a clan mate of mine pointed out, makes sense since switches aren't free. Otherwise you'd be paying to change them only for one hangar and then have to pay again to change them in the other. If they were free, it'd work fine, but under the paid regimen it'd be a bigger ripoff than we have now and people probably would make all kinds of mistakes. So yeah, that's the big limitation.

No switching. Just buying new ones. Only one legendary in the category you want to use for different weapons: tough 「dookie」 ð

Well, I'm glad I've been focusing on building something that I can run in both CPC and TDM maps. It pretty much just boils down to one build - HR...cause some maps are awful for HR/JR/RM, I just need to swap one build in and out.

The only things that can actually retaliate against that are the paid only R2/3 legendary items. I forgot about the highest hangar SP thing last week when I was trying to complete some of the pilot events. Honestly it kinda defeats the point of an extra hangar. I'm anti-tanking in tournament but this means you can play around with lower ranked setups in CPC. I'm always levelling pilots or doing achievements - being able to instantly switch to a higher ranked hangar for squad invites was the whole point of getting this!! They have our inventory SP, or win/loss stats and hangar SP, so 「whiskey tango foxtrot」 is the point of going solely of the top hangar?? Anyway, generally my lowest CPC hangar is in the mid-9ks and usually it's low 10s. My 2nd squad hangar is like 11.5+ so while I am drawing 11kish human opponents it isn't the biggest deal. But AI has been really nasty lately and I'm wondering if it factors in. Does it ramp up the intelligence a bit? Are some AI pilots implants better than they would be if it thought I had a 10k hangar? Since they are the same bots I don't notice if there any little changes. Probably just cracking down on me regardless but I've been wondering...
