I tried Lynx Stake today... it's dead. The forcefield reduction is crazy. I went to brawl with a prisma Erebus at 200m at full health and I lost lmao

You know how I know? I didn't have nowhere near enough comps for either of these bots when they were meta. Crisis is still good, and imo doesn't really warrant a nerf. It's a weak bot on its own, it was the Reapers that were making it OP. |

It's a weak bot on its own, it was the Reapers that were making it OP. I would be fine if they don’t nerf the bot. It does not need it. They were easy prey for stuff already in the game. Like scorpions and my fave: Loki. I take em out all the time with it. Even if they left the reapers alone, it still would be super strong, but not “ I need multiples in my hangars” strong. Ya know, like ochoes. |

I`ve only just now began trying Lynx out having got it to Mk2/2 recently but next to no pilot skills yet. Using maxed Nucleons that I already had and so far it doesn`t seem half bad and quite fun. Will definitely keep upgrading it (but then I also have a ton of other MK2/1 stuff now on the upgrade list due to the recent price changes and discounts).

If they nerf it again it will be even worse than the Orochi. It has less stealth than in now anyway. |

Slightly off topic, how lame has this event been for players? In the first couple of days I won a Newton, one new light blast shotgun weapon and 1 Tonans titan weapon and thought this was going to be a pretty good "event' with no purchased data pads.
Since then, I have enough comps of nerfed items to run a full hangar of Lynxes and more needle weapons than you'd find down the local beach.
Starting to make me think the drop rates are kind of rigged...... Mic drop!

I finally won a Lynx and got the Legendary Pilot, but I've already got a Cruel Orochi that I only trot out for special occasions, so I'm not really inclined to sling silver into an Orochi on donks.

Of course you lost, the Stake is a 150m weapon. Try agian at a closer range.

In the past you wouldn't have got enough shards to make anything. What's happened with this event is a much more even spread, so there has been more high shard count "wins".

Tried a Lynx/Puncher mix? btw, Lynx+Radiant/Puncher is quite a pretty combination.
Or even Lynx/Redeemer ... but it is the 'bot's fault you died at 200m, and not yours, right?

Yeah it's easier to use the other builds, but I was talking specifically about the Stake build, which was pretty much the best build in the game at one point. Now it's useless, the target has to be pretty low for it to work, and the forcefield reduction has made it impossible to last a decent amount of time. You could run other builds such as Redeemer but it would be more of a mid range build. It's risky to brawl with Lynx now. |

I found punchers ok, shotties working quite well, stakes ....just cant stand toe to toe .... tend to lose that battle. Like orochi.... a target lock , drive by will likely work well and will probably be where it ends after its next nerf.
Total orochi re- do. Very Pixonic.
