Anyone else notice that the reward of 30 Acoins for 2 ads is gone and now it's only 3k credits? Sheesh...

I mentioned this in the Hilarious Slow Grind topic when Paylarium revealed it's intentions, another reduction in free A coins.Three months ago you could accumulate 3k A coins in three weeks, now it's around 1.7k and that's if your prepared to go toe to toe with SP droppers and try and snag top three in battlethons. As Redfiend stated in that topic the influx of ex War Robots players spending to quickly up their hanger is allowing Paylarium to screw it's player base and ride the new income wave.
I'm preparing to see a statement in a few months when the new player influx calms down about how they are going to do us a big favour and up the free A coin deals like we will have forgotten that they had took them away to start with.

Why are War Robots players jumping on Mech Arena? Edit: No more 30 acoins for ads s*cks. Because a big part of the War Robots community outside of this forum sub to Manny, Predator and Adrian. The first two stuck between a rock and a hard place because they'd make other content, but their viewership is War Robots video based. Au being further deprecated with ethereum, ship turrets getting deleted when unequipped, rampant hacking, game stability falling apart.

Also, gearhub is 100% just a gimmick to cement p2w. This is the ~best~ time for people with more money than sense to start playing. Playing a few games on my low teir accounts is hilarious, I recently fought someone that, for real money, bought R2 brickhouse, Redox, and Scorpius ~before they changed their in game name~. Starting fresh in War Robots might have a reasonable experience until "the wall", but in MA, every teir is p2w. The power difference between in-teir 325 acoin purchase vs $2.99 cash:

I find it interesting that they scheduled the change with a deathmatch double duel and event crate Rush with bigger ACoin payouts than we’ve seen in a while. While one hand giveth the other taketh away.

While one hand giveth the other taketh away. They have been been doing DDD with a 100 A-Coin payout every two weeks, alternating with an Amateur Crates for at least a couple months now. That's starting to be their new pattern on a lot of events, alternating ones for AC with more for implants or crates.

Same here, im not sure i could even log on anymore. Sadly I have only played 3 MA games in the last 3 weeks. Plarium doesn't care, and I guess I don't care anymore either. So much of my friends list is people who haven't even opened the app for over a week.

Several months ago I reinstalled it, mostly out of curiosity - and I think I was particularly mad at MA. After a point, it seemed like every game had at least one hacker. I lost way more games than I won, and I was never, ever anywhere near the top of the team stats. My little 2-slot MA hangar is bringing a lot more enjoyment than War Robots ever did. And more enjoyment than chasing the unicorn in MA too, for that matter. There’s no way to do that in War Robots.

I don't even understand all the stuff in game anymore. I'll watch a vid and every mech has like 16 different colors swirling around them. It's only watching BB's videos that ever makes me think about it in the slightest .I do miss my Strider (had 3 when I quit) and that fun maneuverability. But I'll just stick to watching his vids instead.

I got into War Robots a little after dashbots had come out, right about when Inquisitor dropped. I missed out on the whole Walking War Robots era unfortunately, but I also didn't have to experience the horrible start of the dashbot era. By the time I got Haechi and Spectre theycd already been nerfed, which was fine by me. I could enjoy the mechanics without the guilt. I really did like how much you could dash and jump around and outmaneuver folks. And I loved Superdash! Definitely miss the big map sizes too.

So much of my friends list is people who haven't even opened the app for over a week. I log in every day, at least once. But I haven't played a single battle in a month or so. Nearly two. I'm just collecting blueprints, spending the daily 2k credits, and launch a tourno battle which I immeditaly quit (just so I'm ranked with 0 points and get fortune keys). I just don't have the drive anymore... between Paylarium's terminally disgusting shenanigans, and my time-consuming activities on Diablo Immortal.

I just don't have the drive anymore... between Paylarium's terminally disgusting shenanigans, and my time-consuming activities on Diablo Immortal. Chasing that carrot becomes a frustrating, never-ending chore. I’m having the most fun I think I’ve ever had in this game with my lower-end 2-slot hangar. Never opened a third slot, never got any of the mechs they force on you. The only mech I grabbed is a Tengu, which I run with a Lancer, though I could probably have done just fine with the Paragon. I wanted something a little different, but not too high up the food chain. Shotguns on the Tengu, Javs on the Lancer, legendary pilots on both, and whatever implants they threw my way - mostly rare, but a couple of epics and one legendary. I really think MM doesn’t know what to do with me. Once in awhile, usually right after I rank up something, it sends the super-aggressive AI after me and I lose a bunch of games. After that, it settles down to where I win most games, and almost always have the top MVP. With just two mechs, I’m mostly a little bit ahead of the opponents’ mech and weapon levels. Occasionally I get a good human opponent and mech out, but not very often. But it’s a LOT less stressful, and there’s a lot less cussing. Although I do get a lot of angry faces from the wallet-warrior noobs when I chew up their shiny new magic mechs. But I basically play just a few games right after midnight to complete the dailies, and then a few during the day if I feel like it. It keeps the pressure way down, and I enjoy the few games I play a whole lot more.
