Yea it is about time of the yr for them to 「fluffernutter」 with drones again.
I swear this 「dookie」 is a seasonal cycle. One thing then the next. Cant leave well enough alone.

At $12 for 300 chips. Its about 75 bucks to bring a drone up to max id guesstimate. I only have two max drones and two more at 6 ish. Like weapons i find it difficult to justify spending on something pixo renders useless ..... potentially within a day of buying.
I will also note the new drones all seem to have multiple op skills to additionally confuse and make a mess of the meta
I dont spend currently on anything as its gotten out of hand with the rediculous progression of stupidity. I feel that pixo tries to hide the cheating and hacking behind magic and OP.
Im just cruising.... play very little and will wait and see.

For all their faults, one thing Pixonic doesn't do is censor people. You can talk all the 「dookie」 you like, Pix doesn't mind criticism, and if there's a single thing I can respect about this company it's that. Very few youtubers kiss pix's 「bum-bum」, I'm certainly not one of them. None of us are afraid to speak truth to power because they don't seem to mind it. While I don't specialize in hit pieces (and I don't think anyone should, a channel of all negativity is just no fun), I've had my runs with it. Here's my state of the game video: TL;DR - Overwatch is the lowest rated game on steam and is getting ridiculed by the entire gaming community and yet their game is managed better than War Robots is and its not close. For example: Ardent Imugi hitbox bug took 3 months to fix, and people with that bug were able to abuse it the whole time. Unknown Seraph and Unknown Angler were the same story. For overwatch, one bug that gave a character a small advantage was prevented from being abused by the character being disabled the day it was discovered, and the bug was fixed 3 days later. Pix only fixes bugs quickly if they somehow lose them money (ie free memorium glitch patched in a matter of hours). |

Keep in mind that this tier list is considering the 9.4 drone nerfs. This is before the release of Pascal I presume? Hiruko, Paralysis and Beak are still in S rank in my opinion. They are still very usable drones and work great with the right application. Beak for example is great for bots that need that first hit stealth while taking flight or landing. Bots such as Fafnir, Ao Jun and now Ophion too. Hiruko in particular is a very powerful drone. I run one on my Ocho and it I would say it is 100% a meta drone. The effectiveness of Paralysis speaks for itself. It works brilliantly with any bendy bullets set up. Mars, Siren, Harpy to name a few. Of course this is just my opinion. Every player will have their own view depending on their in game experiences. |

This is a super old necro post and this tier list is outdated but anyway, I can respond: Hiruko and Paralysis are really good drones, I don’t disagree, but they’re up against some tough competition. I think you could say Hiruko, especially when paired with Ocho and if you’re aggressively spamming modules, could be S. But Paralysis is too niche, it’s “on repair” abilities were nerfed out of existence so now all it does is lockdown, which only works with specific weapons. Makes it a bit too niche for S. Beak is a bad drone. I’m so close to putting it in C tier nowadays because of how little it does. 3 seconds of stealth every 20 seconds is a joke, especially when it’s basically it’s only ability. It just doesn’t give a lot of value. |

I hear what you're saying and I agree in so much as both Beak and Paralysis are niche drones and only really serve a very limited purpose. I don't run either myself currently but I'll occasionally use one of them for a particular build from time to time. |
