For the hell of it, went looking through the rants and such over time, being as itâs the dominant subject lately, err more like for a while now. But I realized, even this coming here to rant has grown stale. The same just over and over. I actually wish they would release the insta death button. Put us all out of our stupid misery. I even left time drops early because I would rather not ruin the others nite by being overly vocal about the current bs in the game. I literally got in 4 games, and had enough. Didnât even play yesterday, and today went up against multiple okiedokies and newtons, in just one match. It was eye opening. And I am ok with it being my only match today. Guess I will wait a few days for the next time drops, because my time is not on the menu for Pix to abuse anymore. Think I would almost be better off watching the vids for free swag than waste 10(if you can even last that long anymore)min getting your 「dookie」 pushed in playing in a game. Tic tok pixonic. Tic 「fluffernutter」ing tok.  |

I'm actually all for the execution module to come out at this point. At least you might get the chance to remove some of these Rooks and La Cookaracha bots when they still have a million HP left. |

every game you play with a self-limited hangar is a little win in itself. every day you say "no" to the 'easy way' is another green scorecard. you are one of the boulders that the glacier couldn't shift and a daily reminder to the chumps that, well, they're chumps.
we all have our own perspectives on this game, and I'm never quite sure how helpful mine is, but your hangar - with its 'too many legs' - has always been inspirational. driven and disciplined. a true specialist.
it's a bit confronting to see your resolve fracture, but I'm not judging. really. I have lots of bad days, but I know that when a good day comes along, I can shock these clowns. and so can you. seriously. leave 'em driving like a wasp flew in the car!

But I am done letting this game get in my head. I get it man. You'll make the right choice, whatever it is, but I'm in the bottom end of masters now and it's not so bad. Yeah, the goat is still here, and the newts, but I'm seeing all sorts of heroes running old bots and guns too. It's always partly mental, but I've been having some laugh out loud runs lately |

Yeah, the goat is still here, and the newts, but I'm seeing all sorts of heroes running old bots and guns too. It's always partly mental, but I've been having some laugh out loud runs lately playing the game head on is one thing. But when you can't even damage something, or just tossed around like a rag doll, it is no fun when its over and over and over again. |

I have some pretty bad games too, but I remind myself daily - all of these pillocks are in line for the nerf. every last one of them. they're living on 'rented' time and they know it. and when they see spiderbots (or hovers, or rogs) matched against them, they're reminded that the clock is ticking. one day a bell is gonna ring and all of a sudden, they're not gonna be able to bounce that invader off the map any more, or reach so far with a Vader choke (or fluffin' whatever). let 'em sleep outside the apple store for the next big thing. I'll keep racing like a tortoise |

I think I am just over it really, my intention wasnt to be an I am leaving/quitting post, more along the lines of intermittent breaks, alot of breaks, like only play one day a week breaks, haha |

Since we are in a similar situation I will post this here. I recently slipped from masters back to expert (and am insistent on staying there this time), I can say with confidence that this current version of the MM is relentless in doling out the lopsided matches. This current period we are in is one of the darkest Ive experienced in my 8? years of playing. I would guess that 3/4 of my matches one team is being overrun in the first 2 minutes of the game, sometimes so badly that it is hopeless to keep playing because there is NO challenge, so I punch out early. Iâm not tanking, Iâm disgusted is all. My thinking is; whats the 「fluffernutter」ing point of staying in a match when we are 4 or 5 capped within the first 60 or 90 seconds, and I look around at my team and they are all clueless to whats happening. OFTEN times I am the ONLY one moving around the map trying to turn the momentum. I simply say 「fluffernutter」 it, what difference does it make if I stay in or I leave early? We are still slotted by the MM to be massacred.
Of course my loopy approach to the game is WAY off the beaten path so take my opinion for what itâs worth to you.
I have 5 maxed drones that rotate around each of my 3 active hangars as a complete set, I never split them up.
Hangar 1 is my tier 1 mixed bots, hangar 2 is my Rog squad (also tier 1 duh), and hangar 3 is my Strider squad. I keep my drones loaded on 1 or 2 the majority of the time and run my Striders with no drones because I will otherwise get pushed up to masters where the suck factor is off the charts right now. If I JUST run hangar 1 I stay in expert1 and finish middle of the pack consistently which gets old. Rogs are more dependent on whether or not my teammates catch on that I am a mofo in a Rog IF I can get some support. Striders, I can still dominate a game on the right maps, but I find myself playing more support roles so we can all have a full match .
In short, master league is feed the whales league, expert is the place to be. For me itâs that simple

For me itâs that simple yea its tough being a niche hangar pilot, but damn me for being a decent pilot because i dont buy my gear. 5 hangars of spiders yes, but honestly 2 that are ready to go 24/7, pilots, drones, mods, etc. If I wanted to run the others, most dont have drones, and many have an unleveled pilot, and some unleveled weps. Not to mention the most meta thing I have are the imugis and their k lasers, all unleveled. And for some reason my stats are terrible yet I am knocking on champs door alot. I lose way more games yet am still almost in champs. and climbing. I mean, i have my way of doing things and running spiders, but damn. I got down to low masters 3, but that was short lived after 9.0 update for some reason. I just dont get it. |

I appreciate the politeness, but you must not have been listening to what they rest of us were saying! It was a rant-fest the whole night really. I also am still waiting for you to finally join 6 Pack. You said you added up the needed resources to make a hangar, assessed the meta, etc., but you have not taken the actual first step yet. When are you going to stop gatekeeping your own War Robots experience by only playing the matchmaker? |

Johnny on the time drops is accusing me of tanking because I am a good player, but that logic makes the critical mistake of assuming skill does much in this game anymore. I wish I could make it into Champion league through skill alone! |

When are you going to stop gatekeeping your own War Robots experience by only laying the matchmaker? yea, i just felt between ranting and frustration, especially since we werent matching up alot(then again there werent many on last friday) I just decided to hang it up for the nite, try again this week. 6 pack, yeah I have calculated the costs and all that, i mean, I do have almost 2 billion in silver, so cost isnt an issue. Fujins and raijins would be the only bots i could run. I guess the holdup is just the time and commitment. Wed and Sat nites may be a bit odd since I work most wednesdays, and saturday is hit or miss most times with plans. maybe i just need a break from the game for a few weeks or so. the level of frustration is just, its not healthy. |

I cant even tank.... requires too much effort, mind you i also dont move forward.... even if spending. I feel you have to spend beyond my budget to proceed on the pixo curve. I cant even blame tankers anymore. Pixo sets the platform, the rest of us just try to work within the framework. Remember that the personalized algorythm is actively working against you. With AI advancements, its important to remember the advasary on the other side of the chess board. Pixo wants to upset you, make you mad ...or sad .... trigger emotional spending etc ... its works on your personality traits etc.... they also employ agents... ie tubers and social media to blitzkrieg your senses and emotions. Steel yourself and play on your turf on your terms. Small addendum... on another game.... after a few months i noticed that almost all who were left grinding were pesonalities like mine. OCD collector types with hothead emotions..... couldnt be coincidence..... the game obviously targeted the personality type and exploited our behaviors.... it was an eye opener....and sort of embarassing as i didnt like these people and had to admit i was one of them. Up to me to control me, as i can ... and rise above

Just didnt want to ruin the nite for the rest of you folks. We didnt land in many games together and I kept getting spoon fed to champs and kill squads, so I packed up and closed shop early. You know how those nites are, especially nites you dont get matched with us alot and have to fend for yourself against BS. We will see how this friday goes. My patience for the BS from pix is dying fast. |
