A week or so ago I bought one of the deals with BM chest keys in it. I didn't want the keys, but it was the same price as just getting whatever the currency was that I actually wanted. Between that and ads and whatnot, I had 12k keys to burn. I could have held out for a 2x BM day, but just decided to go with the 1.5x today.
I opened all of them this morning on the weenie chest. I got the following: 2,000 gold 9M silver 200 platinum 4,000 green crack An Aether from the SuperChest (my first Aether, surprisingly).
I don't know that I'd deliberately do this in the future, but considering I could use all that I think it was a decent payout.

Yeah, the Bronze Chest has long been the best one, but the prize changes a couple months ago made it more apparent than ever. The Black Market is pretty sad at the moment, but at least the Bronze Chest is standing relatively strong.

I play the bronze chest almost exclusively...I'll dip into the silver one once in a while, but tend to come up disappointed there.

I've always preferred the bronze chest, unless I have a reason to want something from the others, just because it's a reliable source of 'basic' resources, and you usually get a few more keys. I can't speak for others, but I've got more pilots than I can use now (silver) and I don't have the patience to save up 1000 keys only to be disappointed with a rubbish result. |
