I've seen some people doing really well with their Hurricanes. Mine (2) are each 2/6. Sure, the obvious answer is that they have 4 of them and they're 2/12 or MK3, but I faced off against a guy with two on his Mars and he was wrecking face.
Why do mine suck?
Edit: It occurred to me that I was using the wrong "H" word. Hurricane not Harpoon. Duhhhhhhhhhhhh!

The weapons do more damage the closer you are to the target, so if you are using them at range the results will be disappointing. Other than that, it is just the usual reasons: higher level equipment, more optimized pilot, module, or drone setup, or hacks.

Possibly a Weapon that takes multiples to inflict actual effective damage ? EDIT- I say that as my Scalds for example even at MK-3 take 4 to inflict noticeable damage

Other than that, it is just the usual reasons: higher level equipment, more optimized pilot, module, or drone setup, or hacks. Ah, I hadn’t noticed that. That’s likely a big part of it. I’ve been shooting from a long distance and the guy I mentioned in the OP was ~400m. |

I used 4 at 2.4 on a Typhon and the projectiles hit the reds like snowflakes. Also, when they claim they don't miss, it's a lie. Screenshot of the week:  Not a single missile hit my Cossack lmao |
