Scapes video made me giggle. "It'll be okay for it's gearhub teir, but I don't see anyone using this endgame"
We're still waiting on fusion cannons, frag guns, and ANY heavy duty pilot for in game currency.
These will probably be the poorest revenue items to date.
And just as an FYI, the gearhub is 100% cementing pay2win. "Pocket change players" get to feel like whales with R2-3 legendary items(<$15 a pop) on offer in rotational succession. When that doesn't decide the match, the AI does.

Got it on the first token. Kinda weird firing mechanic. Three, 3 round salvo's with a slight pause between each. The cryo symbol appears, but it really didn't seem to do much honestly. Even with multiple shots landing on target. Don't know if it's a cumulative effect, as I always seemed to be firing over friendlies who took out the target.

Unless Plarium fixes the MM to somehow allow me to try new lower ranked weapons without beating me up with maxed AI and humans, I doubt I would even consider trying anything new. They shot themselves in the foot. I bet lots of end game folks like me, with maxed gear, would rather stick with what we have rather than spend tons of resources and money to bring some new weapon up to useful levels.

If you can fill the entire hangar with the consistent "low level", the MM will actually make adjustments. The MM seems to be permanently set to "make em rage" at every level, but it will still be a significant SP reduction from the AI. Weapon-less mechs and empty slots are among the only things the MM actually does penalize as "SP dropping". For example, I can lower my SP to about 1.5k on my main, with a full hangar, and see the same AI I fight on my 1.5kSP alt account. The "exploit" was that, all a player had to do is fight 1 match with that full low SP hangar, for them to have 3-4 matches where the MM will not readjust to their 9-11k SP hangar. So, if someone had 5 R2-3 mechs and weapons for them, they can run a single CPC (and quit) then load up their real hangar and get 3-4 tournament games where they can easily rack up 800-1k tournament points. Looks like they finally fixed it, but that also means that people that spend for an advantage will never actually see that advantage, even if they pay their way to 13k SP

I often fill my hanger with three/four star mechs and weapons as it gives me a chance to run my newer items without getting slapped by higher SP players,it is also more fun than playing my full SP hanger and in general MM keeps up with evenly matching opponents.However sometimes it does have a brain fart and drop real opponents with two thousand SP more than me and they mop the floor quickly,playing 5v5 you can tell as within sixty seconds their kill count is double yours,it's that point a decision is made if you can be bothered to play on or just leave for a new game.
It's telling on the game that I enjoy lower SP games than higher ones and I'm making a point of not raising levels on certain bots and weapons to ensure I can keep playing these type of games,and I'm not a SP dropper as I don't play tournament apart from the one game and leave that I do every day.

Between pilots and the grade update boosting weapon damage far more than mech health, "endgame" is OTK snipers in line of sight and guided spam for non-line of sight. That and enemy AI just casually walking past your entire team to focus you. Everything does too much damage, making anything Damage-over-time worthless(except AI being given a free pass to empty their miniguns). Everything needs a 50% HP boost, but that would negate the "gear heirarchy"
