Weirdest battle to date for sure...to the point I know something ain't right. The red team only fielded 3 bots and as you can see they all made the top 3. CPC match on the boat. I went left to pick off reds with javs and by the time I got in position, I had two reds already on the deck beneath me. Yeah, okay. Both capped two beacons without ever coming up to the top deck. The center beacon was never touched. I'm facing the center and watching to see if a target will pop up. Nothing. Just Mr I Can't Miss apparently is there. Game over.   |

The developers call this ‘challenging’. The only challenge I find in games like this is not succumbing to the urge to smash my iPad to little itty bitty apple bits.
But yeah, something doesn’t seem quite right there.

That looks like the most extreme case of AI sabotage I have seen yet, combined a bit player/equipment dynamics. So your opponents' was definitely cranked up to maximum aggressiveness and smarts while yours was set to do the suicide shuffle. Lesser variations of this are happening every CPC match as far as I can tell, with one team's AI making smarter approaches than the other. And here it's amplified by Javs vs EMR. Javs are definitely susceptible to creating a more imbalanced matches because you can't push as hard in the beginning, so your human opponent picks off more bots early on and it feeds on itself.
My AI-smarts have been so out-of-wack for so long, I don't even think I am effecting the outcomes of my HvH CPC matches, unless I meet a total noob/equipment imbalance. Especially after I have done tournament and won a bunch of matches in a row, the second I get a human in CPC, the AI imbalance is just preposterous. Even when I win, I see the same AI numbers but reversed. Yeah I make some choice moves sometimes, or my opponent outplays me, but still it feels totally inconsequential at this point.
This is my biggest frustration with the game, by far. There is no reason AI smarts shouldn't be equal across teams for any HvH match. Use matchmaker to select which humans face each other, and only adjust AI when you're not facing a human. It actually totally goes against their model of selling power if the determining factor against humans is the AI.

Did the human pilot have lower SP than you? I've had lots of games where the game start normally but then the red AI is super aggressive and my blue AI are suddenly running in circles and all the human had to do was sit back and camp with either RMs or EMRs. And when I looked at his hangar later, he had lower SP than me.

And when I looked at his hangar later, he had lower SP than me. Dunno, but his one bot got all 22 kills. |
