Bummer, I left TDM a month ago due to long range Reds and am also seeing more long range in Domination mode

Play BR, they MEAN it.
I need the next legendary days to happen so I can fix my titan pilot at a more reasonable rate.....

We have always commonly dealt with long range enemies the same - make our way over there with brawlers and take them out. So the question is, what is it about the long range meta that prevents that tactic?

So the question is, what is it about the long range meta that prevents that tactic? Uh. The only way to do that verse a good player is with a lynx with PS to outlast the Quantum Radar. Then stab em to death. Not that it can’t be done another way, but that is the most effective. Your traditional brawlers usually get mowed down. I have used scorpions too to good effect. Now crappy players. Anything goes with them. But I’m usually up against top clan members that are good too. Ps. I don’t have a lynx, but still try to get it done with what I have. Usually ghost typhon. |

Ive taken to hunting long range campers with my loki of all things.
Does reasonably well.... Never been any real balance to this game....
Your first couple hundred matched maybee. then its on to the treadmill.

We have always commonly dealt with long range enemies the same - make our way over there with brawlers and take them out. So the question is, what is it about the long range meta that prevents that tactic? It still can be done but it's become a lot harder since you can be one shot killed by a crisis and that's not considering if the enemy has a Newton on their side. Had a game on carrier with 3 camping crisis bots and 1 Newton on the enemy side. It was impossible to advance anywhere near centre beacon and since the Newton can "sit back" and snipe, they can afford to run quantum sensors so even a Loki or Lynx will not get very far. |

I’ve successfully contended with 2 Crisis Reapers simultaneously in my Ravanas. Infinitely more doable with the Weber version, but still possible. Almost all of them can be baited into shooting at your convenience. Trigger Transcendence to avoid most/all damage then unload on them. Hell, I just about had one from a Chinese deathsquad at his home beacon on Castle a few minutes ago. I’d worked my way to him from E beacon and was chasing him around one of the boulders at B when 3 of his team spawned and forcibly took my prison wallet. C’est la vie! 🤷♂️ |

Lynx- They have phase shift at least 3 times, stealth, and executioner. I don't run Quantum Radar because I run the Unstable Conduit for more damage. So Lynxs really are a problem.
Ravana- There really isn't much a Crisis can do against a Ravana. With up to 4 transcendence abilities ready to go, if you fire a clip they take no damage, and you are out of stealth. Plus, the Ravana's weapons can hit the Crisis perfectly even if it is in stealth.

I’ve been saying this for years, BR and my Strider gang is pretty much the main reason I’m still playing. It’s never the same thing twice and there is much room for improvisation |

Nessa Raven with radiation guns. It's a question of timing but when the Crisis shoots and drops stealth, I do a stealth jump and try to land hits. It's possible to smoke a Crisis entirely before even landing from the jump.

You could counter Ravanas and Phase Shift in general by firing partial volleys to bait them or staggering each Reaper so the Ravana is forced to use more abilities at once or take some damage. Not perfect solutions, but they should definitely help. |

Long range definitely too powerful, they totally ruined one of my favorite maps, Springfield, when you got 3 guys with reaper set ups it's just gross now
