Like this is shocking, but it started with Reapers (which are now being given out as participation prizes in Special Delivery event) and the Rook. The Rook was not so bad in Expert, since I rarely saw them. Then I started playing better, and upgrading gear, and moving up, and the Roots began to breed like 「fluffernutter」ing rabbits in a predator free zone. Playing one usually meant death, especially if the player was choosing to live outside the rules,
Then came the Newton, which can 2 shot kill PIG 「fluffernutter」ING TITANS. Let us not forget the Keel mothership, whose orbital blasts follow you like that that robo call asking about your cars fluffernutter」ing warranty. And the mini-Minos? And to push sales, they are going to weaken the Nether? Yeah, just cut the pound of flesh from around my god damn heart, why dont ya, Pixonic? 「fluffernutter」ing pieces of human 「dookie」 Russians 「illegitimate child」s.
And, do not forget about the change in the economy!
Are they purposefully trying to kill this game? I feel like Crash Davis in Bull Durham.
Just want to compete on a mostly fair battlefield. Pixonic put that on life support 4 months ago, and turned off the machines with 9.4.

The sky hasn't fallen...yet but I can't recall another time when I felt more annoyed with the game. Well besides maybe when the Spectre shocktrain came out, or possibly when the Fafnir was first released.
Pixonic are pretty much just phoning the updates in and no one in their right mind would introduce the ridiculous crisis reaper bot but here we are.
The Rook with the equally stupid teleporting shields that miraculously restore health 「whiskey tango foxtrot」! And now the Newton.
The Skyros does pretty well against the Newton, but good luck with all the reapers around which magically bypass an allegedly unbypassable defense.

i havent since monday morning, think i will hold off until time drops on friday unless some folks get together and we do a few early runs on thursday nite

i havent since monday morning, think i will hold off until time drops on friday unless some folks get together and we do a few early runs on thursday nite Would love to do these, but I don’t have an external mike, so engaging would be hard. |

No ipad here. I use my cell phone for everything. I charge up the juice to 100% and use my earbuds for the games. When the battery hits 10%, I'm done. Just as well. I don't have the juice to stay up late much anymore, anyway.

Been a week of no play for me. Good points from ReclusiveCthulhou812 and with the BS Matchmaking you continually face all this new stuff.
I'll add a few more points:
1. I gave up chasing the META long ago and was living reasonably happily in Masters 3 with my old bots. Some small spending here and there like VIP.
2. Spending has just naturally dried up as my hanger was maxed. If some new, cool, interesting bot landed in my lap (... and had not been NEFFED to oblivion) I would surely level it w/ weapons. With a big pile of Gold and Silver would be no problem to level bot, pilot and weapons.
3. Enter the new currency. Now you can level a bot and weapons but forget about the pilot. This completely killed (for me) any reasonable expectation of every running something new.
Part of the fun with this game was new content, trying it out, leveling what works and moving on from what doesn't. This game has just become so exclusively PTW that I've just become exhausted with it. Bored with the same old bots and the same old BS matchmaking with Lynx's and Nether's running all over the place and Crisis and Newtons deleting me from the other side of the planet.
Two days of no play stretched to three... quit chasing adds for loot and now don't remember the last time I logged in. War Robots just got boring and no fun.
I wonder how much of the overall player base is slowly tapping out.

TerrorStorm, thanks for stating this. I have been trying to wrap my head around why the game is so boring. Granted, I expected this with the predictions around the 9.3 download.
