Sega Genesis Games and Starflight

      I recently attended a retro gaming convention with my adult son and it was cool. Lots of games to try out, people dressed as game characters and the Tetris 50 year anniversary!  There was also a very crowded dealers room...😁.  I had long wanted to play or replay the game Starflight.  Starflight is a space exploration game with resource mining and some alien contacts in space which can help solve a mystery.  So long story short I found it with some helpful googling by my son and bought it along with a used Sega Genesis 2 system. I also bought a 6 games in one cartridge with Sonic the Hedgehog and other games.  Kaching! 







      After trying various cable setups and finally cleaning the cartridge contacts I got it working, in HD. Star flight is a deep game as shown by the thick printed manual and galaxy map that come with it.  The manual is also online  in PDF form.  There is a quick walkthrough for New Captains of the ship and that helped get me started.  So in the game you outfit your crew and ship then go mine planets for stuff to sell.  Then you upgrade your ship and train your crew up.  Alien encounters can have peaceful and informative results, or not. You have several choices of weapons. ;-). Solve the mystery of what's causing problems with the stars and you win. 

     I'm looking for more Sega Genesis games to try out. So if anyone has favorites let me know.
