Min/Max -vs.- the Money Meta

This is obvious to some, perhaps others not so much… but in light of the recent changes to the game, most of us are looking towards various alternatives to get the most out of PIXO.

Here are some of the Mix/Max strategies I try to leverage:

• first and foremost… always look to save rewards and only collect rewards that double-dip (i.e., one gets the stated reward + a bump up the LEADERBOARDS milestone ladder) 

• always wait for the -% discount cycle before making major upgrades to anything/everything in the game (not all -% discounts are the same every cycle)

• always wait for the 200% bonus cycle to collect from the BLACK MARKET and then try to time it for double-dipping during leaderboard tasks
  
  
• OPERATION R bonus rewards roll-over past the “Time left:” indicator… after max, wait to collect for better flexibility of using R rewards at optimal times. (FYI. Operation E doesn’t roll over)
  
  
• SPECIAL DELIVERY typically runs for more than 30 days so don’t pump & dump your fledgling 3 or 4 chests on the first 3-day leaderboards task, save them instead and build up 10+ chests for the second or third applicable leaderboards task
  
  
• EXTERMINATION battle mode (also know as PvE) is/was a great way to win free rewards without spending any boosters
  
  
• the new TITLES state “there are extra rewards from completing some (titles) challenges”... so there is a possibility of free rewards every season cycle?
  
  
• set a personal hanger bench mark… MK1.9 or MK2.4 is popular, as is MK1.6* for 6 Pack League (* old-school restrictions apply)
  
  
• focus on leveling up your "weapon sets" over individual robots... level, lather, rinse, and reuse your weapons on your next new bot
  
  
• max out your mothership “Charge speed modifier” ASAP for more utility/frequency of ship’s special ability use during a single match
  
  
• now that POWER CELLS cost $$$, spend them wisely and look into the Quartermaster pilot skill “all active modules on xyz cost less power cells to activate”

• final note… sometimes you are going to be the minnow, and sometimes you are going to be the shark, so enjoy the game accordingly 

Me, I’m somewhere between MK1.9 and MK2.4 in Expert league, active in the iOS 6 Pack, and trying to get the most out of F2P, in the hopes that better days are ahead.
