It's finally completed, been a long loooong grind for gold, used most of my drone currently from conversion to get and upgrade Barrel, grinded gold for the paint job endlessly, and used 100 keyes black market feature when it was a thing to get flamers, but its finally done. Now I'm leveling everything up, and i would mucho appreciate advice on pilot skills. Is there a Blitz Legendary Pilot and is it worth it? My idea was if i keep current pilot to boost it another level when discount hits and get 4 skills: road hog, armor expert, energy shield expert and deft survivor or wonderworker. What's your thoughts? Please keep my budget in mind, im f2p

Paging ѻﻭɼﻉ to the White Courtesy phone.
ѻﻭɼﻉ to the White. Courtesy. Phone. Thx poopoo, but at this point, honestly, I dont even know what to say. Up even until recently, I’ve given what I felt solid advice on Siren for example, but Ive been reflecting on something that has really impacted my thinking, and it is this: even a fully juiced mk3 Clive Blitz gets instantly destroyed, which begs the question - does it even really matter what level we build to and how we build it? My answer to that unfortunate reality and question is not really. Just build it however you want, I mean, sometimes it has seemed that running a Blitz with no modules or pilot has been more deadly than all juiced up, which again begs the same question, and for me at this point it is the same answer. Sorry to be so bla, but this company has totally destroyed their game and spit in their players faces all the time, so if the product is trash and you get the same result from being maxed as being less prepared, it makes no difference and makes no sense to invest very much into these things.

Looks like fun. The Blitz pilot, Clive, drops the shield in favour of defense points (I think), so he's not really that practical today. Of course, he would enable all your skills to reach gold, but F2P probably limits that anyway. On the skills, I would agree with your list - Road hog, Armour, energy shield - and I would choose wonderworker from the last two. Good luck with the Blazes. They still do the job, provided you can keep your target in the stream.

@乃ㄥ卂乙 ... You'r Blitz is up close and personal… Very nice!
I’m a pocket change player (returning to f2p) looking to min/max my old hanger’s leftovers… Try this on for size: Upgrade your Last Stand to level 3 during the next big discount days, the Last Stand.3 triggers at 15% which is -5% below the 1st (damage) and 4th (speed) Barrel abilities. Bada-boom! Perhaps this combo even works with a Last Stand.4, then everything should technically trigger at 20%. In theory. What do you think of that?
PS. I run an old maxed out Battle Born with the combo above for even more bot staying power.
PSS. Has anybody noticed the Barrel upgraded MC cost is less than other T4 drones???

That would also enable you to get gold skills too.

Rollo Tomasi - Any thoughts on a Blitz build? 乃ㄥ卂乙 CONGRATS on finishing your grind-quest! (That sounds like a Lap Dance Punch-card discount.)

IF there are Reapers aimed your way, Clive v Not-Clive doesn’t really matter. But vs most bots, Clive turns Blitz into a really excellent acronym, wait what? Oh yeah, imo Clive Blitz is still the way to go.
If you’re good with flAIMing, that is a great build - nearly nerf proof, great v armored bots, bottom 2 great vs most stealth bots, and you get rewarded for skill.
edit: Also, the unified visual with those SE Blazes is such a thing of beauty that 1 in 20 Reds will just stop, slack-jawed and helplessly paralyzed by your awesomeness. And of course we have your name to consider, so I think the weapon choice debate in this discussion is concluded.
Cudgel and Sonic are also good options, but offer neither the cool colour coordination nor the name tie-in. Fwiw - whatever the choice, I like at least the lower 2 slots to have some kind of dispersal for more successful Red-stealth mitigation.

I have a Blitz that I don't use often. I installed Otto when he was first released along with Mags. Worked well until I went back to my normal oddball stuff.
I had fun breaking it loose the first time I joined the time drops, though.

Admittedly, this thread made me change fav mech in my profile. Although the Hellburner and SuckerPunch are always close to the heart, looking back I see how no other mech ever completely captured the ferocious and tactically spastic hunter for me the way Blitz has. I concur with Rollo Tomasi 乃ㄥ卂乙, Clive is the way to go, largely because his contribution to longevity is steady, whereas the aegis boon of non-legend pilots is temporary, and weak even when bolstered with aegis pilot skills and fortifiers. As far as using flames, acid, or bsg, staggering some shots with allow more continuous fire, and that comes in handy for mitigating the fall off of missing targets as well as the downtime deficit of being without firepower during reload, which can be the death of you. With pilot skills, focus on bolstering repair and durability; try to avoid things that are dependent on beacons or that only give brief temporary benefit. With modules, anything that primarily increasing longevity, durability, and immunity are ideal imo, because stronger fire power is worthless if we can’t last long enough to apply the firepower!
