Good news:

For Minnows / Dolphins (and even Whales) prices to buy the traditional currencies like Ag/Au/Pt are way down compared to a couple years ago. Whodathunk 100m Ag for $10 was a possibility?
If you are patient you can get premium content Like Baihu Luchador with legendary sonics for like $25. That's WAY less than buying gold tokens during an event.
You can buy some pretty nice Mk2 stuff for not loads of money.

Bad news:

Hacking/cheating is still a thing so this negates ALL of the above.
Drones cost a VERY expensive currency to upgrade drones.

Drones upgrades are never deeply discounted.
The new pilot "Memorium" currency I suspect will be JUST AS PRICEY as drone currency. FRICK-on-a-stick.
Have you noticed that pilot upgrades are no longer deeply discounted?
Mk3 Dorito tokens, 'nuff said.
Whatever quite new content you upgrade will be nerfed. Prove me wrong.

bad news and STILL bad news , with all the tanking going on ranks still mean nothing at all , ranks rewards also mean nothing at all since tanking gets you more anyways.

on the side of good news : people are becoming so annoyed that after the first bot gets wiped out in a second they refuse to spawn meaning minimal rewards for tankers

why is this good news : because if the trend continues and i believe it WILL (still is today) cry baby tankers will moan and moan and pix WILL have no choice but to deal with the situation , if they refuse to deal with tankers and instead punish idlers further then more will leave meaning even less games for tankers.

as for the whole hacking situation i personally believe pix themselves have a hand in it as the same day an update comes is the exact same day and time a new hack is released (check youtube and other places and see for yourselves)

The thing is, prices are not necessarily lower. Yeah you can buy a ton of resources at once for cheap, but that is really due to hyperinflation in the War Robots economy. Pilots were cheaper and not as necessary a couple years ago, and the power creep did not necessitate mark two as well, so while resources were not as cheap, you also did not need as much of them. Regardless though, I would say the current setup is overall better for low-end spenders because if you set level caps and ignore the extreme cost of the endgame, things are overall pretty cheap.

I like the MK2 deals if I'm honest. Picked up 4 Solid Gauss weapons for my Crisis at MK2. Wasn't even a tenner. Also came with a MK2 Behemoth. It makes it easier for me to test these builds in Champion league without spending a fortune.

There's something otherworldly about knowing your own fate...

It's interesting to consider, what could be, or may never be
