So, just had a match on the Skyship. I was trying to do the Attack mech Accolade event so I spawned my Panther, capped a beacon, killed a mech and then got taken out by an EMR16 Panther (human pilot). He was camping in the alcove by centre. I absolutely hate campers so I spawned my Surge and took him out easily enough but then he gave me a red angry face. I didn't think anything of it and the rest of the match was easy peasy. I kept looking for him but I couldn't find him. Shrug... Anyway, after the match, I took a look at the Recommend Friends thing and he had 2400 SP. 「whiskey tango foxtrot」? Sure, my matches are bound to be a bit easier since I picked up the Eclipse this morning and shelved my KS in favour of JR8 Eclipse but matching me with a 2400 SP human?? Made no sense until I looked in his hangar. Oh as I as going into his profile, his top mech was a Surge...  |

How did he play with only one mech? 🤔 I'm assuming he unequipped all his other slots. Folks do that sometimes as a challenge. This guy actually has a little YT channel, maybe he was trying to record some vid. |

Played with him many times. I believe he was sp dropping for FFA, and just decided to run a cpc. He is around 9000-11000 sp with a full hanger. I thought Plarium required a full hanger for FFA, but I ran into a couple of people yesterday with 1 mech.

Played with him many times. I believe he was sp dropping for FFA, and just decided to run a cpc. He is around 9000-11000 sp with a full hanger. I thought Plarium required a full hanger for FFA, but I ran into a couple of people yesterday with 1 mech. When I had just four slots filled a while back, the game would not let me start a tournament, but I could join one if somebody invited me. After that, once I played that first game, I could play as many as I wanted for the remainder of that tournament. Then at some point after that before I filled the 5th slot, it let me register. Interestingly, as soon as I unlocked that 5th slot, the poop hit the fan and the fun-to-frustration ratio plummeted. I have no idea what kind of whacked out magic they have baked into MM and AI, but I do know I’ve been sleeping a lot better in the week since I last played. |
