Well, the Eclipse is in the Neon shop. Anyone want to share how much it is in their shop? It’s 🤑15.99 in mine.
I’m thinking I’ll pass and wait till it gets cheaper though. I’ll admit it’s tempting. They look like fun.

$15.99 for me too. I think the Neon Shop prices might be the same across the board. Curious to see what others say. I think I will pass too. Eclipse is now my next upgrade priority but I'm low on A-Coins. Don't actually need to own yet while I save up.

Eclipse is not in my Neon Shop. 😥 But Missile Rack 16 is. But its cheaper at 8.99 in the regular daily offer. I am very tempted. 😁

It was like $21 in mine...but, it's CAD so everything looks more expensive. I picked it up and also picked up one upgrade pack so I can put JR8 on it like a beefed up Shadow!
Might also try SG8 on it but my Myna is using for AT12 and my Neymar MVP is for DL16...so don't really have a decently leveled pilot for SGs.

I had a lot of their gold implants and I experimented with swapping them in on my Myna and maxing them and it was just a joke. Down at the 6000s they work, but not at endgame levels. Still, implant swaps are free so you can run a test if you want. So far I hear good things about DLs, ATs, MGs, EMRs and NLs (used close up) for Eclipse. Frag Guns (even the 12) aren't good (so again hard to see SG8s performing well). |

Yeah, JR8s aren't really cutting it for me either. I usually run JR12 KS and even that is often not enough, so the big drop in firepower just to run Eclipse isn't really worth. As for my SP, it's now under 10k, and I do see a difference in the AI. Human opponents still range from 9k to 12k though.
I don't have any other 8EN weapons decently leveled to throw on my Eclipse so it is what it is. If/when I finally max this thing, I can do either JR12, AT12 or maybe even CB12. CB2 may be interesting in that people tend to forget that it's got a really long range and you can really wear down an unwary target before they realize it. So, you could be a small speck on their screen, chipping away at them. Wouldn't work against AI though cause AI react fast. Maybe I'll do MR12 or even NL12 and see.

Its one of my favorite weapons at mid range to close up. 😉 |
