I’ve thought about working for it in the leaderboards, any upgrade from my kid would be nice, is it worth it?

I will say no, but it would do well in lower leagues.
It's better than a nodens but It doesn't have any magic tricks up it's sleeve to get out of sticky situations.
No stealth, no dash, no jump, no reflector and it's chunky AF so it absorbs all incoming damage

I like playing mine. Not OP for sure. But there is always stuff to do with it, which I find fun. Chuck the turret over there to harass enemies. Chuck the other turret over there to help out your fellow blues. With both turrets off, it gains a bit of speed, so go grab a beacon or duck and cover. Pretty sure it gains speed with one off too, just not a lot.

For Titans. Anything that can go into the air and/or cover ground quickly would be a better choice. With the exception of Indra. But that one has “get out of jail” powers to help it survive.

They need to milk that cow for a bit first. Give it say, three months or there about.

Yes, I have a hard time sticking to my choices. I run them all. Not the rook as I don’t have that one. But they all get some champ league game play, even the Kid. Some last longer than others, but they all do different things and that’s the fun part. Using each one’s abilities and trying to do well with them.

I just want one I can hold onto, but I assume like you said fast moving and flying titans aren’t easy to come by, is the aether any good?

I would assume the Indra could be decent in the right hands Problem is sheâs only lvl 61, and I get nailed by Dazzlers. Been focusing on hull, not speed. Going to correct that during the next discount day. Maybe get her in position quicker could allow me to get some kills. Then again, I have this Sirius now, and what the 「fluffernutter」 to do with that?

It was top meta with glave and lance before the nerfs to both the bot and weps. Now it is just ok. They nerfed the speed, healing, and force field. It was too strong before. Now it is pretty balanced. So probably won’t be nerfed again.

Every titan has its place, and how well it does depends to a great extent on how it is built and played.
Every titan dies. The true situation is really very rock paper scissors. For example a shotgun Luch may be quite dominant in a brawl, but without sufficient cover to temporarily take refuge, enemies with 600m weapons can especially wipe it out, so the situation really depends on a lot of factors.
The Pt investment is steep, so it makes sense to approach our choice carefully, especially if we want to max it. The best approach (for the low-to-no spender) is to try all the titan content out in test server, and to watch videos of its use and mechanics. There are really two major categories to assess:
1) What role do you want to play: close range, medium range, healer, and
2) Do you enjoy the mechanics, visual and sound effects. Some people may not care about this at all and just want something that can dominate, but generally speaking it is difficult for anything to always dominate entirely due to the many combat conditions, especially good opponents with better weapon range who can evade and gradually degrade the hp of the brawler opponent. So in short, if you dont enjoy a titan, why invest Pt in it, and if you dont take time to try each one out and research how it works, how can you know if you like it?

I concur completely. I have a 150 Minos that I don’t play much. Same with a Luchador. I wanted to max them to give them a fair shot. I don’t much like either. I’m glad I leveled them, though. It was good experience and gives me options to try different Titan options.

Rook will only be OP for a few months, Indra will stay OP for ages. I would still say Indra is the best titan, I've killed Rooks in it with the Argon and Oxy build. Indra is like Ravana but better. If you have experience with it you can outlast any other titan. People said Aether was better than Indra in it's prime, but I never believed it.
I would go for Indra.

I think Indra is an ancient Sanskrit word meaning "brutal death of gus". It never really made sense until now. I'll let the scholars know

I got (I don't remember how) a Stellar Sirius a few weeks or so ago. I leveled it somewhat due to today's 25% Titan thing along with a few other items. It's currently level 76 with Hull, Core, and Engine all being in the vicinity of 25/50. I had it in my hanger to try out while working to catch up on a few event E tasks. Because it's underleveled and I was in low Champ (since dropped to M1) I had it equipped with three Lanterns to try to mitigate some of its shortcomings. Also, because it's underleveled (slow, weak) I had it equipped with 1 Damage Controller (which I leveled for this exercise) in the defensive slot, as well as 1 Titan Repair Amp and 1 Titan Accelerator in the Universals; the Accelerator was to try to get out of trouble faster.
I need to play it more (my Minos is back in the hanger for the < 200m damage task), but I'll say that while the jury is very much still out I'm not impressed. The Accelerator helped it move about quite effectively, but it really doesn't seem to do anything especially well. It's like a jack of all trades, but somehow less so that of its contemporaries. The Heimdall is better offensively due to the built in suppression gun and 4th Beta slot. It doesn't heal as well as Nodens in what appears to be potential output, range of healing, or flexibility (Tethers >> Remote Restore). I just don't know what to think about the Remote Assault, yet; again, not enough experience with it.
I suspect that my issues are compound.
1. Mine is underleveled. 2. I have very little experience with it and am not using it effectively.
3. It's comparatively weak compared to other options.
I'll still try to level mine up largely out of curiosity, but also because the Titan I'm also curious about (Indra) seems likely to get even a small nerf as that I suspect Sirius may get a small buff. Those two are too good and too bad (respectively) to leave as-is in perpetuity. Given Sirius has been given out in multiple events and as Leaderboard prizes, I wouldn't expect a prompt buff. Pix just doesn't work that way historically.

I got the free Stellar Sirius too and I'm only keeping it out of curiosity. I also got an Ox Minos that I've been putting spare Pt into (that's paused now that I've got the new Titan repair or immune or whatever module to sink Pt into), but honestly, neither of those is going to replace my maxed-out Heimdall that I love playing.

You rock the boat with your heimdall. So I would expect the Sirius to take a bit to get used to. When I watched manni’s video with the Sirius, I thought it would be OP. Never to be killed. But that is just not the case. It is too slow and weak. I like playing it, but it is underwhelming for sure.
