So, I managed to snag a gold implant specific to KS's melee damage. I'm currently running Stefania on my KS with JR12s and have JR Damage, Range and Reload on her. The fourth slot is used for KS dash distance which I've found somewhat useful in that I can get ahead a little bit more and the extra range has helped kill mechs that would have been just out of range.
But, I still keep mis-estimating how much HP is left, especially with the bigger mechs, and often leave them with a sliver of HP before they kill me. So, I was wondering, if I added a purple ability damage implant, will that stack with the specific KS implant? Or will it do it's calculation/damage based on the base Melee Dash damage number and add that to the gold implant?

Nevermind. I just tried and it wouldn't let me. Even though the name is different and it's a specific implant, I can't add a generic implant on top. On the plus side, I did a custom and recorded how much damage I do head on and it's 83.6k, which makes sense as I have my implant leveled to 5 which gives a 25% boost. Max is 30% so that's something to look forward to. Edit...ugh, so 30% of 66,900 is 83,970. So basically, I'd get an extra 300 damage if I maxed this implant! Sheesh!

EDIT: OK, that's interesting on the damage numbers. A purple Ability DMG implant maxes out at 23% for far less Scrap. That's 82,287 or 4,683 less in damage. I didn't realize it was that little. Also didn't realize a gold Ability DMG implant is exactly the same as the gold Killshot Smash DMG, not that I have either. Ultimately I'd max it if I had one, but with those numbers I wouldn't be in a rush to go past L5.

Longing for this implant too. Too bad it doesn't stack... perhaps it's something Plarium could fix (as if).
