I’ll post a “how to” for you in a little bit. Hard to do on my phone and I’d rather by on the computer for that.

Okay, here's how you do all that. From the main page, hit/tap/click/talk-dirty-to-and-buy-it-dinner the "Profile" tab at the top (#1 in the picture). Once that opens, the screen below will open up. Trigger the "Edit Profile" button (#2 below).
From the Profile screen you can do a number of different things (but not everything shown below because you aren't Moderator). Your default screen will allow you to set a custom Avatar. Don't use anything that would violate the Code of Conduct. When you're done either linking to something on the internet or uploading from your device, hit "Save Avatar Changes" to complete that task.
To change your shown username, hit the "Personal" tab that's right next to the Avatar one. Right below is a blank to change your Display Name (#3 below). Again, don't use anything that would violate the Code of Conduct. Once you're done scroll to the bottom of that page and select "Save Personal Settings."

Our resident artist, gus169 provided many of us with our custom avatars. Man’s got skills, even entered a pix contest with some work and was selected as a finalist. Not sure if he is available for requests, but never hurts to ask him. He will ask a few questions as to what you want, but the man does great work. |

also how do you guys all get custom avatars with ur usernames and stuff To get a custom avatar with your username, you can typically use a Gravatar (Globally Recognized Avatar) or upload one on the forum's profile settings. |
