So, it has taken a while but I have finally reached the stage where I have no more attack boosters left after they forced us to activate all boosters in battle and gave us a pittance as compensation, just like they seem to do with everything else like the drones, and the useless "as 「huge tracts of land」 on a bull" workshop.
That battle rewards crate is another useless nerfed creation. Do they even play their own game? 15 power cells or 100k silver as a "reward" for a champion league player is embarrassing and then you have the daily gold bonus, 20 gold if you can deal 350k damage in a game. Again do they even see that high level players are doing 5-6million damage and taking over 1 mill silver as an average per game and they set it at 350,000 damage for the reward. So out of touch with their own game. Rewards and conditions should scale to the league you are in. One thing that has me perplexed is how "good" the extermination mode rewards are. Seems like a mistake (or a trap) considering it's free to play and they are not even spruiking the tokens like they had on the last reincarnation. Only a matter of time before the nerf hammer hits that mode.
I had the same feelings about the power cell payouts when first released, thinking they limit the amount they give out once we're all addicted but they still keep throwing them out in chests and rewards. I guess big spenders must be keeping that monetization scheme afloat.

To understand the app resource conditions, you need to think about it in terms of marketing, always. To sell, they create tension, which is a felt gap between a current reality and a potential future. Tension is central to selling, and has to do with creating a situation where players are psychologically and physiologically present with the is and could be. Allowing the quick and excessive purchase of power, and gifting battle rec accounts, combined with a complex manipulation of content (in our present context a very poor resource acquisition/effort contrast), they create tension, especially through scarcity. By showcasing the potential power, in contrast to your failing goods (due to “rebalances”) and imbalanced and insufficient resource payout, their psy-op preys on the psychological and physiological effects of a player’s anger and sense of fascination, thereby creating conditions for repeated frustration (tension). This is aimed at producing the act of purchasing content in the general player population. In the context of high league gameplay especially though, the creation of leagues, clans, stat boards, a number capped recurring “legends” league and so on, adds a whole other level by recognizing that the manipulation of a player’s addiction to social status is a powerful sales tool. Not only the sense of power and gratification from praise or being seen as a good player, but one’s ability to remain competitive at those levels and maintain membership status within a clan is at stake. This is why the greatest amount of purchasing is done by Champion League players, especially by those in clans. When there appears to be a generosity on the part of the company, you must understand this too is simply part of the marketing strategy, which is psychological and physiological warfare to acquire money. It is not a mistake. Everything in the game is designed with precision intent to drive sales, period.

they realize maybe people arent buying like they used to, or arent buying what THEY want you to buy. So they take away some stuff and "rebalance" it to make it significant.
its like an interactive GOFUNDME.

Yeah, after boosters run out there is a noticeable drop in your stuff’s performance. If you are struggling to get stuff leveled and do not want to spend or increase playtime, the only thing to do is scale back you hangar operations, either by only upgrading certain things or doing less frequent upgrades. Set level caps, develop less hangar decks, and/or set aside unleveled things you do not really care for. Also expect your decreased performance to lead to a tumble down through the leagues. I myself have dropped out of Master III into the Expert leagues and seem to be on my way Diamond because my hangars were finally not enough. I could not be happier to be out of the high leagues as this next-level insane meta sets in.

I live in Gold now. A little seedy but cozy.

I've still got over 400 of the red and green boosters. The yellow ones seem rarer though.
